It's time to retake our community, one bond at a time. Scammers have always breeded in the cesspool that is MD, but recently, they've assumed control. Long time elites have turned turncoat, new posters are exposed as criminals, auditing is under attack, the institution is collapsing, and C&D weeps at how far we've fallen. It's time to put an end to this charade. It's time to fight back.

1) New to MD or investing?
No problem!
Contributing to the [C-Bank] Anti-Scam Fund is as easy as one, two, three billion. Simply send your spare isk to my wallet (Cheque Please) where your gracious donation will sit comfortably in the vaults of the Hot Like Mexico corporation for an indeterminate amount of time.
By robbing small-time scammers of their usual prey (you), we'll quickly bore those opportunistic nasties and force them to take up more lucrative pursuits. When MD becomes a safe haven again, all isk will of course be refunded.

2) Long-time trader / investor / active bond manager?
You might be a scammer in disguise.
In order to your prove your innocence, the [C-Bank] will henceforth require a 1% cut on all bond and trading profits per week. If you do not comply and fail to send a donation of 1%, we at the [C-Bank] will have no choice but to consider your ultimate intentions suspect. A registry of offenders will be published in order to protect the larger community. All investors are warned not to send isk to these likely scammers.
By complying with the 1% donation tax, active bond mangers are both proving themselves to be upstanding community members and helping to weed out deviants.

3) Casual poster?
Aside from substantial donations to the [C-Bank], casual posters are encouraged to step up and hassle non-participants of the system. By actively policing our community, we can root out deviants and together make MD a better, safer, more uniform place. Remember: if your bond manager is acting suspiciously or refuses to pay a 1% donation to the bank, he is most likely a scammer. Take him up on it. Bring him in line.

You know, speaking of scams and such... For eve being such serious business, I'm surprised that there hasn't been a huge bank attempt where the person was like "look, I'm so serious about being legit I drew up this legal contract where if I default I owe this person a plex."
I'm no lawyer, so I'm not sure if something like that is legally possible.... Just wondering why something like that hasn't happened.
