Ok, so I thought about getting on here and raging about losing a fight to a nuet. Was holding my own against a frig and a BS (well tanking the dmg w/o a problem) in my Drake, then a hurricane jumped in on me to join the fight, I figured I'd just tank that damage too, but no, nueted, cap completely out and there goes my Invul II's and my DC II, dead.
Thank the Eve gods for insurance.
Anyway, raging gets you nowhere in this game, so my question would be: How can you counter a nuet? Or at least not be completely drained. I've tried using cap boosters before, but it seems that as soon as their neut cycles I'm right back to square one, though I might have been using it wrong, I'm not an expert at this eWarfare stuff. Anyway, any advice about nuet's would be helpful.

It's a solo VS gang sort of thing - on one hand, that neut couldn't have ever hoped to kill you on his own. On the other hand, once he's got a coupla friends accompanying him, his danger becomes much more significant.
Basically, your enemy (and by this I mean everyone who was fighting against you regardless of allegiance) played their cards right and got the upper hand. Just like you will be nigh invincible in some situations, you'll get utterly wtfpwned in others.

I don't get it... OP was tanking a BS, a frig and a BC in a Drake and he want be able to stand alive? And he is mad because they won? Really don't get it.

One BC should die to 3 players in equal/bigger ships. (LOLDRAKE)

Thanks for Trolling on troll day you trolls.
I didn't expect to win 1v3, I'm not all "WTF Y I DIE?!?! DRAKE Y U NO HAZ WIN?!?"
I was hoping to survive a little longer to let some of my buddies jump in and turn the tables, but thanks to the nuet my tank went down, I went pop.
Thanks for the one decent reply. If its just a fleet mechanic that I'll have to learn to deal with, then so be it.

Small nos isn't a bad idea. Cap boosters also work, but on a drake its not worth it. To use those cap boosters correctly you need to time them out of sync with the nuets (neuts hit their cycle and you pop on you cap booster). Plus, with a bc you should be running 800's, and unless they are running a curse thats enough cap to handle the 2 med nuets on a cane.
If you really want uber tank for your friends to help you your gonna have to gimp your dps. Drakes can have ultra tank if you get rid of pvp mods (U R bait).
But yea man, your getting trolled b/c a drake shouldn't be able to take on 3 ships like that (unless your bait, even then your still probably gonna die). If there was a god fit like that, everyone would be flying it
