Every WH I enter has at least 1 or 2 Corp POS's in it, there are 2499 WH's in Eve (according to the Evelopedia), has anybody got population numbers?
Can we have more Wormhole systems or can we have Sleeper rat's attack the POSs in order to make it more "dynamic".

Take WH from said 1 or 2 Corps?
Working as intended one would think.
If you want empty head to null sec.

No I just don't want to see Wspace end up boring. I want more "dynamicasm" in Eve. Less static stuff.
Wspace was a great oppertunity for dyanmic systems, it started out that way because it was something new, now I fear it is turning into yet another boring static system with sites we already seen before lots of times and done.
I don't want Eve to become a chore, I want every day to be differnt even when doing the same thing.
Chores are never fun, new stuff is, so keep things new, all the time, even when it has been there for years. VARIATION!.

I see a lot of POS'es in WHs, most of them run by 1 man corps that would be trivial to push out.
But I still manage to find plenty of all alone notcis that gives me decent isk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

few points
how many of those poses are offline and not removed simply because ccp hasnt allowed offline poses to degrade their HP byt 10% each week down to 10% of their original HP after 9 weeks
dotlan can give u an idea of what time of day those wormholes are active
are u talking about wormholes access from high sec class 1-3, low sec generally 4-5 or 00 5-6 ( a lot of class 5 and 6 systems are just empty) lower easier systems are populated
more wormholes out of c2-3 wh into null sec would lead to more population movements

I like the idea of sleepers attacking POS's. Sleepers should roam around WH space and attack any ship they see.

Edited by: Hakkar''al Gallente on 23/03/2011 11:46:27 Population numbers are in QEN, WH-space is popular so getting *more* crowded. I thought Orphanage would be happy to take a wh system by force (seems dynamic enough) but maybe you are too fetered to Jita? Sleepers attacking POS'es ... I thought Sleepers did roam when I first entered a wh-system way back in Apocrypha. Would actually be neat I think.

Go deeper into w-space, there are plenty of empty systems - C4s and C5s especially. _____________________ Look down. Back up. Where are you? You're on a forum, with the alt your alt could post like. |

eve is pvp but if a pos is offline its hitpoints should leak down to after a time say 3 months they are down to 10% of their original which for a large pos would be 5m shields and 1m or less armor and hull easy enough to take out would reduce pos spam in high low and null sec and give rise to more PI

Apparently the OP doesn't understand the "dynamics" of competition for resources. It's precisely because of the density of population that players are "forced" to interact. The OP's alternative is a separate system for each every player, so that we never have to see/interact with each other. Maybe OP should run for CSM
If you see a player that has something you want, you have two options: take it, or avert your eyes while bowing lowly while leaving the system in deference to your superiors.

EvE is over poplulated.
People will fudge it by suggesting that you can go to a whole bunch of systems and find no pop. They neglect to point out that you will be there for less than half an hr and a squad of griefers will be in scanning you down. You can also find 2nd and 3rd tier WH space that don't have POS in them. There is a reason. They are unproductive.

Miilla,
It's about now that you're meant to create some alts, such that there will be at least one person who agrees with you on one of your endless "waaaaa... there are people in that space I want to farm .....waaaaaaa ... I can't think of a possible way to circumvent this ... waaaaaaa..... CCP please make the sleepers do it for me..."
And so on.

I would like a hacking system, so you can hack POS's that are off line and unanchor them yourself.

- Find offline tower.
- Anchor Advanced Hacking Jobby next to it, costing 25 mill and having ~200k EHP.
- 24 hour hacking cycle begins, with a publicly visible countdown timer. Tower owner gets mail stating time of start and end.
- Tower owner can a) blow up Hacking Jobby or b) re-online the tower. Both halt the hacking cycle; re-onlining the tower unanchors the Hacking Jobby for the tower owner to scoop.
- Upon completion of 24-hour hacking cycle, the tower is unanchored and can be scooped by anyone (it's a tarp!).

My Short History of Life in W-Space.
Wow this stuff is cool. Wow Melted nanoribbons are sweet Wow ABC ores are awesome to mine Crap High end ore prices are falling Man this scanning everything sucks Hell Veldspar in HS is worth more then ABC's and hauling I am moving back to High Sec Hey this PI stuff is pretty neat Sweet PI in W-Space rocks
And we are up to date.
Low class WH's (C1 to C3) are very occupied because they are easy to get to, the PI yield is nice, they are great for other reactions, and hauling out ores is easier. C4's are less crowded, but harder to get in and out of so less valuable to the pure carebear corps looking for better mins and PI.
C5 and C6 are still pretty empty as 1) they are more 0.0 accessible and allow capitals. This means they are "cleaned" a lot more often.
So if all you are doing is scanning out of HS then yes you wil not find many empty systems. Look deeper.

Is this really something to whine about? Seriously? There are so many open areas left to explore and it's not overcrowded in the least.
The biggest problem right now is the attitude of the ignorants in the game, ruining for paying customers, and CCP has yet to addressed that issue for at least 3 years.

Entering W-space use to be a trip into the unknown. Now its a tromp into someone's back yard. To add back some of that unknown, I propose that new w-systems could be added that are POS free. How? One of 3 ways:
1) They have no moons, or 2) All moons have a sleeper structure anchored at them, or 3) The have occasional "catastrophes" that clear all player stuff, even logged out ships. Red giant stars flare, cataclysmic variables have cataclysms, etc.
Existing w-systems would remain unchanged. Want to live in one? Push out the current occupant.

I spoke with OP in local last night and they didn't even understand what a static wormhole was.
Get a better understanding of wormholes before you say the system is broken. .

WH space is MEANT to be a hostile environment, specifically including PLAYERS that will try and kill you in the fight over resource access (or just because they want to). Welcome to Eve.
(Note: on the same note, I approve of local AS IT IS, and I'd make high sec even safer (although not completely safe)).
Play nice while you butcher each other.

I live in a C3 with a static C3, nearly every 3th C3 we get is empty, of thoose, half of them are ****ty C3s with like 70 moons and stuff....
every second has a ****ty fitted tower which is a piece of cake to take out. Popolate maybe... to dificult to scare people out... no.

I don't know enough about WHs, but if there were a few systems w/o moons, they might be interesting. Would be cool to stumble into a WH that turned out to be a Sansha staging area for Incursions as well...success in the WH short-circuits an Incursion somewhere.

As you do not now much about WHs GTFO...
1. There are enough empty holes 2. There are already holes without moons 3. Incursions maybe, could be interresting and soem extra ISK
If you want the perfect WH for you, search for it, we've searched for ours 3 Months, forced the corp in there.
If you want it easy, go to 0.0 If you want it sexy find yourself a hole
