Fellow capsuleers,
I just came back from a five year EVE break and trying to figure out a way to make a living. I don't have enough skillpoints (6.2 mio atm) to be competitive as a pirate or mercenary, I grew already tired of mission running, and I hate Excel just enough, not to start a career in trading.
So, out of curiosity I started exploring in highsec a bit and found besides some basic anomalies and cosmic signatures some wormhole entrances. Just the other day I found an entrance into a class 2 wormhole which seemed rather new ("This wormhole has not yet begun its natural cycle of decay and should last at least another day."). I tried to clear some sites in my Harbinger but was overmatched.
Nonetheless, I like exploring and have some questions now:
- Is selling wormhole entrances in highsec a viable business model or is any corp that clears them finding them by their own?
- How much could I ask for a class 1,2,3 entrance?
- Does it make sense to also explore the wormhole? What could I charge for example a "Common Perimeter Deposit"?
- What's the best way to get in contact with potential buyers? Is there like a channel or a board or something? I'd rather not sell them in Amarr local. People would think I'm a scammer anyways

If you're willing to give-up your full API, most people will trust you, you could join a WH Corp as most Indy corps are pretty flexible with sp requirements.

WTF?!! DO NOT give your full API to anyone.
Selling wormspace (WS) is a viable business, and is done in the SELL section of the forums. You need to provide the locus signature as this provides the important details about the WS. Such as static wormholes, class rating, available planets. You also need to know if there are any current residents (i.e. Online POS's). Most WS traders use a 3rd party to secure the transaction.
Selling the location of a WH (not the WS) or a specific site within a WS is really not viable (there are suckers out there though).

Thanks for the replies guys. Good to know that it's a viable business model as I don't intend to join a corp at the moment.
So to get this straight, I would provide a buyer the following information: - locus signature for example J151348 - information on any POS inside - bookmark of the entry point
Right? Sorry for beeing such a noob

Dotlan give more accurate statistics (kills & jumps), but Eveeye IPS has accurate info about the wormholes. Knowing the static wormholes is very important. In this case you have a C2 with static C1 & HS.
You will need to stay inside the WS until you sell it because the WH will timeout and collapse. When that happens you will need to scan down the new exit. I would wait to activate (i.e. warp to) the respawned wormholes until you have a buyer. This will help to keep other people from finding it.
Edit: When you do sell it you will want to contract a bookmark of the WH to the buyer, and you should stay inside until they get at least 1 person there. Also, if there are any abandoned ships inside (i.e. Orca, Rorqual, etc) include them in the information and your price.

Originally by: CCP Full Access API Key Allows access to all your character information available in the API, including wallet and market information, and your corporation's information as well. Please be careful about who you give this key to.
Although people cannot use your API key to get your account information they can find out a lot about you that they really don't need to know. Why do you need to let someone else see your wallet and market information? Do you want them to see that you regularly make major market runs with hundreds of millions of isk worth of goods?
Knowledge is power, don't empower your enemies.

Good advice! So only one question remains. Which WS is worth selling and which is useless? What requirements would the ws need to fulfill that people want to pay for it?

The answer to that rests in the market itself. Some people want low-sec exits, others won't touch them. Some people want full POS Fuel PI, others don't care.
Spend time going through the Sell Orders forum to get a feel for demand. Especially since that's where you'll be selling them anyway.
