The post 'Papa Smurf on standing increases and social skills' is more then a year old.
I'm pretty sure some things aren't exactly 'up to date' anymore.

Yes, it's old, but as far as I know nothing has changed, and questions regarding standings and especially standing increases are asked frequently here in the forum.
Do you have any examples of things that are not up to date anymore?

I'd like to simply ignore the important missions.
What is the effect of ignoring an important mission
(Don't answer unless you are CCP, or you've done it, and if you have done it, how much standing change was there, if any)

Short answer: I'm a volunteer, no CCP official, ignoring a storyline mission has no standing penalties, and yes, I've tried it myself.
There's a post about this by Zrakor in the depths of this forum, and he's a CCP dev

As I already replied to another thread in the forums, I will not add links to posts that claim to give exact percentages for mission types.
There are several reasons for this:
- Most of the numbers floating around are outdated, inaccurate and/or incomplete.
- I haven't ever seen anyone collect enough data to justify these numbers. Most of them are guessed or made up.
- The exact distributions can change from patch to patch.
What I'm looking for is someone to make a guide about mission types in more general terms, like "Security: mostly kill missions; Production: no kill missions, mostly courier with some trade and mining; Advisory: More courier than kill ..."
A post along that lines, that covers all mission types too, has a chance to get linked from the sticky

Slight problem....the agent that I was refferd to after my tutorial agent won't talk to me anymore. Cause: my mouse jumped when I went to click on the accept button for the 7th or 8th mission he had for me, and instead clicked on no....now he tells me to get lost or that he's busy. Is there a way to get back to doing his missions or am I screwed? In which case I'd say it's stupid |

Just a simple question guys/ladies.
Storyline agents...do i need to get in contact with them so in a future they might offer a mission to me?....or I dont need to see any of those before they evemail me storyline mission need?.
The thing is..Im doing Amarr Navy agents mission and my standings are 2.82 with the corp. I have never been aproached by Navy storyline....in the same time several storyline agents from different corps aproached me with missions.
I searched this links in first post regarding this questions but i couldnt find what i was looking for.
Is there a guide or list of STORY line agetns anywhere near?

The EVE Tutor is wrong but I don't know how to let them know. So if you guys see this please correct your info.

So you increase your RP per day via increasing your skill level, doesn't matter what your agent's level is since the level listed isn't a requirement - it is their knowledge level in the chosen area.
Another way to increase it is to increase your standing with the NPC corp the agent is in.
Please slap me if this has changed since last time I looked ;)

Hmm add Labor connections which I knew right off the top of my head I messed up the decimal point though or something it' s suppost to be 15,000 LP and 10,000,000 isk like the other Connection offers

WARPIGG, Apertotes - why not try out my online agent list? There are several online agent tools listed above which are all good although obviously I like my own the best!

Storyline Mission: "Covering Your Tracks" L4
Kill Objective
Destroy the bounty hunter and his cohorts that are hanging around the
abandoned stargate, retrieve the special delivery, then report back to your
agent.
Recommends bringing help. Anyone have this one before and can provide some insight into it?
Update:
My version was a bit different than the respondents.
It came as result of missions from a L4+16 agent. Storyline agent was in Oniken-House of Records. He recommended help. He wasn't kidding. I had a friend group/jump in 10s after I did.
I went in to scout with a frigate before trying. The deadspace jump is to within 14k of the npcs.
NPCs were 1-1m Raven (Named boss), 2-250k Megatrons Mercenary Overlords, 3-88k Carcal Mercenary Commanders, 3-30k AF Mercenary Wingman and 2 Caldari sentry guns.
I was in a Raven with 2 Kinetic / 2 Thermal hardners, XLSB 2 and SBA. The damage came so fast and steady that my XLSB 2 couldn't keep up, drained cap couple of times. Used siege 2's to kill bs, scout drones on the wingman. I had to get out with 17% hull left and 2 cruisers (one about dead) and one wingman still there. My buddy finished them off, along with the sentry guns. I am certain I would have been toast solo. He did have a problem ganging to me. Had to do it twice. The first time it didn't bring him to me.
Any positive comments or suggestions welcome.

Krait, I think the npc¦s have some kind of special ammo that does EM damage too. You might try this:
1x EM
1x Thermal
1x Kinetic
1x invulnerability
This should give you better resists.

Those are called lasers :)
Mercs deal all dmg, so you definitely had the wrong tank fitted.

The one I want (re)-added was in the sticky before this new sticky was started over. It contains information that the link that exists now does not. Like, the formula for calculating RP/day, what fields have an x3 multiplier, etc...

Only works in-game, but provides you wish a means of finding a quality agent at any level and view that agents info, even set your destination to that agent. (Beware, some agents are not in empire space!)
