I looked a bit at T3 Tengu subsystem thingies, and one of them gives a bonus to remote shield repping. Another gives a bonus to cap recharge.
Has anyone ever flown a healer Tengu? Successfully?

I personally have only flown tengus solo, but I know people that fly RR Tengu fleets in WHs.
Even if they are all T2 and names mods, they are very efficient from what I hear.

T2 logi cruisers are way more effective than t3.

How much more is way more? And do Tengus make up for the lesser efficiency by being more durable?

T2 logi fits a full rack of large reps. More importantly, it has the range bonus.

T2 logis have a range bonus and can use larger rrs
The rr tengus work like rr bs gangs so you need a certain number of tengus with same fits all bundled up together to work but the upside is all the ships in your fleet can have pretty good dps.
Oh and just to make sure the RR tengus are not tengus with all rr on highs but with a full rack of HM launchers with shield transporters on a spare high and focuses the rrs whoever needs it on fleet.
This only works with tengus because tengus are the only T3 ships that have the range with good dps while all bundled up together.

Haven't flown one, have been ****d by a gang using them... The rep bonus is awesome but the lack of range bonus means your gang has to stay in a tight ball, it cans make tackling quite a challenge. There are no macrominers in EVE |

3x buffer RR tengu @ 100 km = pain if you MUST pop them for some reason... because they tank like 1000 dps on 170m sig 700 m / sec hull
- you have to pray your alpha BS manage to get them good all at once because you will have trouble getting little tacklers towards them due to massive dps they can channel.
But then again - you wont see many of those floating around because of $$ and skilloss. OFC if you catch ^^ @ gatecamp they will burn pretty easily if capped and webbed

I.

the RR Tengu actually reps more than the RR basilisk; Medium S95a reps 57.6 hp/s * 6 reps = 345.6 hp/s Large S95a reps 76.8 hp/s * 4 reps = 307.2 hp/s
That and a tengu can fit a full rack of them a propulsion mod and a cap booster and a buffer tank . . .
That at the cost of range, the tengu is limited to a range of 6 km for its reps.
As long as you build your fleet with this in mind, its simple.

BO dropped cloaky T3's with remote reps help keep recons alive instead of them being suicide tackle/cyno when hotdropping gate camps. Not used often but can be an amazing lifesaver. Regular logistics can't use covert jump bridge but T3 can.

That is a strange comparison.
If setup for just repping: Basilisk: 548hp/s (and long range) Tengu: 384hp/s (and short range)
Both need to sacrifice tank for cap and fitting mods.
