I found a Serpentis Fortress today that escalated all the way to the end. After running all around 0.0 doing the escalations, I came to the final one. It was gated, and I was able to solo it fairly easily in an Ishtar. I killed the overseer, triggering the pop-up signaling the end of the escalation. The wreck was completely empty.
I realize the overseer isn't the same as a shadow rat, but overseer's always seem to drop something, even if its no good. Did I just get unlucky? or was there a structure that I missed?
Secondly, I did a Gurista fortress as well today, which escalated twice, but not all the way. I couldn't help but notice that the Guristas version has a much more detailed page.

What exactly do you want of us? Obviously, having done exploration for at least some length of time you are aware of the all powerful RNG. And as for the wiki comments, why don't you add to the articles?

A top secret source has told me that CCP's newest kid on the block, CCP Trollolo has been given the task of overriding the RNG and griefing explorers in exactly the manner you mentioned.

Well I ran two escalations at same time, both went to the end, each part had a faction rat of at least 9 mil, most were 12 mil, overseer dropped good stuff, first was aprox 850 mil, second almost 600 mil, decentish faction loot along the way as well, all in all a fun and profitable evening.
Well not really got a point to make, just thought i'd tell you......

Sorry, the point of my post may not have been very clear. It was specifically this, to ask if a completely empty wreck is well within the norm of the RNG. I was expecting some low-meta loot at least, but I suppose that's only from a normal faction spawn, and not a rule for an overseer like this. As for adding to the wiki, I will do so in the future.

I think its bad luck.
I must have really bad luck, though, because I have been through 3 escalations and not one of them had drops from the Overseer.
I guess its offset by the number of time that pirate BPCs drop for me, though.
