These are questions that you ask yourself regardless of a real life situation or the very seriousness of Internet Spaceships.
A Varion is a breed of capsuleer that strives to dedicate him or herself to set ideals:
Warfare and Tactics

Teamwork
Brotherhood
Friendship
Varions are a mature family of pilots who take care of each other and anyone in our family. We live around the Eve Universe, spread through several corp's that are a part of the community and brotherhood we embrace. Varion Galactic is based in the depth of lawless space beyond the control and boredom of Empire. We are supportive of our new and old members alike, providing help and opportunities for personal growth within the family. We are extremely combat oriented pilots with a laidback atmosphere free from role-playing and drama, but this is not to say we are all meat-headed combat booster poppers. Most of the best players have roots in industry, and it is a valuable part of the game which is encouraged. As with most corporations, we have criteria which we believe should be met, some of which are covered by the opening questions.
We have two other operations currently working in Wormhole and high security space. Deep Star6 and Receg lead the WH operations and make quite a few nice paychecks doing it. SamuraiTSumo currently leads our High Security Wing, accepting all new players, training them to become self-sufficient, independent, trustworthy, and very deadly PVP and Industrial pilots. We have common channels where new players can talk with veterans and hear their stories of battles won and riches gained. Forums to share and collaborate to further each players ability to grow and have fun in whatever aspect of Eve that you partake in. And even if you want to try null sec, or try Wormholes, you can and still hang out with your same friends, all the while making a whole lot of new ones.

Here are some of the standards we are basing our null sec recruitment:
PVPer:
- 15mil SP
- Armor BS capable/Shield BC capable
- Would really like: Logi > Recons > Hictors
- Must be Self-sufficient
- Must be active (Online US/EU TZ and have comms and mic and on for more than once a month)
Miners:
- 10mil SP
- At least Covetor
- Would like: Skills for T2 crystals, Hulk, hauler alt
- Must be active (Online US/EU TZ and have comms and mic and on for more than once a month)
