It makes no sense that AFK people stay online. If they are not playing the game then they should be logged out. I've spent the last few days not playing at all because of a red being in local all the time. The only break i got was when the server went down the other day. Only then did all of the afk's vanish, and now they are back again today. I didn't spend ú15 to play with people who aren't playing.

I believe a wholehearted "Harden The **** Up" is in order.
Seriously, it's YOU who's choosing not to undock, no one else. If you want to pay ú15 a month to cower in a station because you're too scared to go out and play, then that's your problem, no one else's.

Yes it does.

So, what, no more freighters through empire space or mining ice or looking at drones killing NPCs in a mission while watching an episode of a TV show or eating lunch ?

You're an idiot.

ROFL. Really man? grow a pair and go do something despite the reds. If your alliance is too crappy to get a crew together to go rat or w/e then you need to gtfo. If you are so terrified of the pew pew then maybe you should head back to high sec

I'm talking about a bomber who sits there all day waiting for someone to go mining or ratting. Nobody in their right mind would actually do that while a cloaky bomber is in local so the place remains empty (yes, people are not playing because of it). There is no way of knowing that someone is AFK, this is my point. And i'm not just talking about AFK as in a few hours, i mean afk as in all day. And they are in every place you can think of in 0.0 space.

So you went and bought a game to play with people who aren't playing? It's like having a birthday party and inviting 100 people who accepted and nobody showed up.

History of the cocktail
Rum was available as a medicinal 'tot' to slaves working on sugar plantations in Cuba - they used it as a pick-me-up by adding mint, water and sugar cane to take the edge off. Mojito literally means 'something a little wet'. Per serving

One guy in a blaster taranis in your fleet, doing whatever in another part of the system waiting for your distress signal if needed.
Problem.
Solved.
(Now HTFU and stop adding to the "useless whining" threads, we have enough of them. Find something to complain about that requires more than negligible effort to counter.) ---

HTFU
It's easy to rat and mine with an afk cloaker in system, you just can't do it solo! I know that working with other people is difficult, but sometimes its a needed evil. |

Not sure, never had a battleship. Getting cruise missiles tomorrow though so will be able to use one. I'm currently ratting or plexing with a Drake. If i got attacked with that i'd be mince meat before anybody arrived.
But what i'm saying is that if you are afk for more than 3-4 hours you should be logged of automatically.

You can't blame others for the choices you make.
The solution to you disliking the choices you make is not to "fix" the other guy ù it's to change your choice (or finding a way to like it). ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

/doublefacepalm Yes, because bypassing THAT one would be SO DAMN HARD.
P.S. And if you want, it could be 100% undetectable since you can do it in hardware, not software.

Considering the tank a Drake is capable of fielding, I'd be quite confident in surviving an attack by a single SB. ------- Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience. |

If I understand you correctly 0.0 consists of exactly 1 system?
Also, ummmm I forgot what ... HTFU? Oh, and yes: also, no they are not - not where I am =)

Yes AFK cloaking as it is called is overpowered and in need of a nerf. However so is the perfect intel from local and the appalling RSI from D-scan...
However the Eve we all play allows AFK cloaking tactics, so suck it up. The 'AFK' guy is carrying out guerilla warfare on you guys. It is working too - one cloaky ship is stopping a whole system from making isk and thus denying you those assets.
Try: rat in cheap ships, rat together, rat aligned, mine in wormholes rather than ur system and monitor the exits, sig tank, log the times he does attack and find his actual TZ, check killboards to get his kill times, bait him, move next door, stick a cloaky alt in his alliance space if you find out who it is (if you are renters theres a good chance its your landlords alt doing it for teh lulz), use D-scan, leave your chars logged in all day so he doesn't know when you are online either, or cower at pos/station until he gets bored and goes away (not likely).
*Disclaimer: I am assuming you don't bot. If you do, more power to the cloaker.

besides which, who says he's afk.. maybe he's just sitting there waiting for a juicy hulk to undock.. that's not AFK.. it's a valid PVP tactic.. and i'm sorry, but afk cloaking is too.. it's economic warfare
