A light cap fleet was moving around the Delve/Querious area cleaning up and setting up for the coming week when AAA/Fail decided to try a trap on us.
When the cap group jumped into 5V-, Manny quietly on lined a jammer and isolated our small cap fleet, which consisted of about 8 carriers, and 8 supercarriers. We noticed the hics and dics moving around the system with ever increasing frequency, but nobody noticed the jammer until it was too late, and as the Ihub went into reinforced they sprang the trap, with the hics and dics landing on grid.
Our super fleet emergency warped to our safe tower, save one man, a 2 day old Nyx was tackled in bubbles, and AAA/Fail supers came pouring in through a bridge.
A frantic race ensued while the 7 PL supers sat idle at the tower watching our carrier fleet throw themselves in front of the hostile supers, and the lone scout scoured the system for the jammer. Meanwhile the PL superfleet massed in KFIE, and then then Mckinlay found it, and our supers rushed in to drop the jammer. Minutes later, the last PL support carrier went down hard, and the jammer was still at 15% armor, but the first of the PL support had finally steamed to 5V-, and were jumping in.
As the first members hit the grid the jammer fell hard, and cyno went up, for about 15 seconds, letting 3 more PL suppers slip in to stem the flow of blood from the nyx. Bubbles everywhere, the rest of the PL fleet got pulled, we were split, and all but those 3 would be forced off the field, now making 4 PL super caps tackled in bubbles, alone on grid.m
Then the nerve of AAA/Fail broke, our hictors were on grid, their supers cut and ran, leaving a sole Avatar trapped in our bubbles, and our cap fleet, let in by new cynos, landing back on top of our wounded nyx. 2 minutes later the Avatar broke up, and the now massively outnumbered coalition hictors and dictors were being demolished by the PL cap fleet.
Best US tz fight in a good while.

Yup, 60% armor. Pilot didn't have to overheat hardeners before we could get triage carriers in, but had that cyno jammer gone down later it would have gotten a lot hairier
