Most of you probably know the aprils fool devblog about Captains Quarters and Pets / Mounts. If not read up here
As there are 7 pages which more or less say "I LIKE THAT", i would like to make CCP that at least partially reallity.
At least some standard pets for CQ (cats / dogs / snakes)
This would really give some "home/real feeling" to captains quarters, probably some basic interaction with the pet (feeding) would be nice too.
They wanna make a joke out of a great idea, i say NO, make it reallity!

I have to admit, I always thought things like fish tanks were just obviously going to be part of walking stations.
I would be sad if I could not buy fishes.

Well, he was saying he doesn't want people who don't care/trolls to comment, not if they disagree with it. Too many people in GD oppose ideas / troll threads for no reason. :P

Maybe because ideas go into another sub forum? Aswell as you aren't suppose to do petitions or "signed" threads. Or maybe by telling someone not to do something makes them want to do it even more. Sorry if my wording was off in my previous post.

How are you supposed to have a pet inside the station when you have no permanent rooms? All of them are rented when you dock. So unless you keep your space cat floating in your pod goo while you are flying your ship, I don't see how this would work.
Also, I think I should be able to beat my kitten to death whenever I am having a bad day, sort of like punching a pillow. Then the next time I am having a bad day, I should be able to clone it and do it all over again.

Well, i clone my pet, so i see no problem there? When i rent the office, the pet is cloned with it. When i leave it, it gets vaporised (brainpattern gets safed first of course). Easy...

You can just clone your slave on a new station, nobody cares about him anyway

What a great idea! Sims in Space sounds about right. What better way to break in the new expansion then to have a frog follow you all over your ship. I would be for this, but only if we had tribbles. The ones in STO aren't that great as you can only pet them. I want them to follow me everywhere I go.
