I pay for 3 accounts. But I rarely play. Not because of Falcon.
I realized how stupid my effort is when others cheat, I hate being cheated on, I also would hate to loose my character. I am waiting till eve cures itself from 'macro' cheats.

removing bots simply makes the game more enjoyable to players without them having to pay to other parties outside of the game.
Now the serious part. Bots only give advantage if there are very few botters, say 2-5%. If every other person uses bots, there is no advantage. In this case bots push the game out of the design boundaries and outright break the gameplay. But everybody pays botters to play a broken game.
Zero tolerance and mass banhammer purge is a good practice that keeps good people in and bad people forever out. With no double standards and grey methods. One legit alt, one bad alt, all under botfather account. - This must not be .

hey, how about we introduce an executioner position among CSM and ISD, a player elected justice maker with a ban hammer and bot gas chamber, approved by CCP and endorsed by anti cheat eve community.
Every month the executioner can biomass the offender macroes and vouch for permanban of their accounts

I believe that CCP should contact some outside professionals, like -http://www.evenbalance.com
if they 'struggle' to identify botting patterns, perhaps they need to consult other developers who are familiar with this field

Edited by: Opertone on 29/04/2011 20:33:53 who says that bots make 'you wealthy'?
items cost less ISK (true), mining professions make less real income (true), then your labour costs less and you can spend less... not wealthier at all
on the other hand, bots can go 24/7 on multiple accounts per person, a real person can do 3 hours daily on one account only. Bots are more productive, players are less productive and get less in return.
As for ratting, bot can net in 500 mill everyday, a reasonable PvE player can net in 100-150 mill per session. As a result bots have more purchasing power, compared to their levels fair players are less wealthy.
As bots become more popular they get bigger presence in wealthy class band. Numerous people who rely on bots become standard for wealthy definition. Markets and inflation begins to adjust to their 'spending habits'. Their new class creates new price levels, thus contributing to inflation.
Finally if majority of players rely on bots, everybody's income becomes equal universally, price levels adjust, but none are wealthier than another.
Bots don't make you (non botter) wealthier.
As Marks said higher productivity wins XX century. He never said that social formations win, such as capitalism or communism. He never said that asian bastards should farm ISK and RMT either.
