I'm couriouse how well a 'anti mining' corp would do.
If one where started would any of my readers join it?
Perhaps a anti-bot intel channel instead?
I'm in. I don't care what kind of botting it is I'll fight against all of it.
Hulkageddon is good but the fact that it is announced months before hand somewhat makes it difficult to kill bots since they have so much time to plan.
But anyways, I would be all for joining an anti-botting corp/intel channel.

The problem with Hulkageddon is the fact that it's announced ahead of time. The bots stock up on ores or ISK to compensate for their loses. And besides, Hulkageddon is also used to teach new players a hard lesson about Eve: you are never safe from outlaws... anywhere. A Botageddon is intended to be a year-round event that mercilessly hunts down and gank a bot.
I for one would love to enroll my own alts into the gang of anti-bots. It would make it more interesting for me.
But of course, we need to create a separate thread for this because the one we are posting on right now is mainly for providing intel on the effects of CCP's banhammer on the bot community.
Exactly. Hulkageddon doesn't really do much for a fight against botters. We need a coordinated effort that tracks bots, tracks the sale of characters on the character bazaar to see if suspected botters try and sell off their character to someone else.
We would need a private channel that gives intel on the whereabouts of botters and a mailing list of known and suspected botting characters.
Everyone get in your 1400 maelstroms

I think the idea of removing skillpoints is one of the best. It makes the character worthless, but they can still train that skill back up and start it back up in the future. Yes, it would seem redundant to keep doing that but you're only temporarily inhibiting them, not permanently. Why not remove the ability to train an integral skill entirely? Mining bot? Oh no! You can't train the mining skill! Ratting bot? Goodbye spaceship command skill! Trading bot? Goodbye the trade skill. You shut them down by removing their ability to macro but they can still be a part of the eve community and can participate in another field. It is a sandbox after all
Oh! And put some sort of "stamp" on them that labels them as a character that has had action taken against them as a botter for...player awareness

make them EoM (and make their faction spawns drop EoM ship BPCs) and I am game
This please!
I love EoM. I wish they had a bigger role as an NPC faction in the game.
