Gallente Protest
The following is an in game in character formal protest gathering to inform the Gal. Federation that its pilots are upset about their ships and weapons falling behind in the arms race. It was suggested in the UNGIMP GALLENTE BSHIPS thread and has evloved into this event. Please come out and support this protest.
Log On To Eve Channel "Gallente Protest" For Up To Date Details
 Where: Luminaire
When: Sunday, 21:00 Eve Time
Ship Required: Any Gal.
Bring What: Lots Of Veld. To Drop Propoganda Cans
Optional: Mount Torpedos To Symbolically Blow Up Gunz
Optional: Secure Cans & Veld For System Spamming
Power To The People

Just one thing - secure cans? Luminaire is 1.0, so you won't be able to anchor any secure cans. And veld? If you really want to drop lots of j-cans (though I don't think lagging one of the busier systems in the game will garner much support to the cause) you can just jettison bookmarks.

I support the cause fully but I think lagging everyone out isn't gonna garner much sympathy, as was said above. :/
I think CCP would be more...receptive to our requests if we behaved more civilly

Skip the cans, lads. There's no point ruining the game for other people. That is: cans make lag, lag make server nodes crash, crashes are bad, mkay?

Since Koreans can develop their own guns themselves, I'd say your comment came from your ass. But I do agree with previous posters, littering in gallente space makes no sense.

Protest Results
Thanks to all of you who participated. The event was a great success with a fleet comprised of Gallente and other ships first amassing at the Algogille Gate in Luminaire. We commenced to drop cans and then hit several stations while the fleet continued to grow in size.
While our cans may be short lived, the message we left will continue to echo in pilots minds. I hope to see the needed changes made soon, but if that doesn't happen I'm confident the next protest movement will be larger and more fun.
Next protest will probably have a drawing for ISK for participants as well as well as a L4 mission for anyone interested (ya got that many BSs in one place, ya might as well have some fun)  .
*no nodes were crashed during the making of this event
