It seems CCP removed the "cancel subscription" icon from the login page! Sooooo.. how do you cancel?

The cancel subscription option only appears if you're paying with a method that can be automatically renewed (i.e. credit card), because all it does it just cancel the automatic renewal process. If you're paying by plex, paypal, whatever, your subscription is automatically cancelled at the end of the period unless you apply another plex, paypal, whatever manually, so they don't display the button.

No, it's still there.
Click "my account" on the left of the site and it's in the options there as the 4th option down under common tasks.
Oh and if you're leaving - obligatory "can I have your stuff ?".

I'm trying to cancel too... There is no cancel "option". I only have 3 options here and cancel wasn't one of them. I screwed up by putting my account on auto recurring and now i need to cancel and I can't.

WHS unless you are paying by plex or paypal etc...
if you are paying by cc and the option is not there then a accounting petition is the way to sort it not a drive to the forums

log in ->
on the right hand side under "common tasks", there is cancel subscription.

Go to Subscription Details
There is a Payment Type in the second row.
IF there is written:
Payment Type: Use PLEX
Then you can not cancel the subscription, as you do NOT have one. That will mean, after you PLEX run out, your account will go inactive.

Unless you've ever used a credit or debit card to pay for your account, in which case it will revert to cc payment instead of cancelling. I know because I've run into that problem before. Got a petition submitted to sort the issue so I can cancel.
p.s. no, you cant have my stuff, I'm just suspending the account until I'm in a mood to start playing again.

I've had the same problem.
If you start with a credit card subscription and then switch to plex there is no way to cancel your CC subscrition.
To make it worse, once your plex time runs out you will be charged on the credit card and switch back to monthly (or whatever type of subscription you've had).
From there on you can cancel your subscription again, but you will still be charged for that one period.
Other way to get rid of this is to petition it.
And yes, I have bug reported it, however it's still unfiltered (if anyone is interested it's bug 110536)

It's still there. I use it every month so I can send hatefull troll like messages to CCP. If they come out with an Elastic band for the burst, I guess they took it serious. Sorry about that Burst Pilots. |

Apparently I too suffer from the til the end of time billing syndrome as well. I have no subscription to cancel yet it bills my card monthly. I have never used plex or any method other than credit. Bah Humbug!

The cancel subscription button for Eve reminds me of those computer pranks where you try to click a button then but button moves from the cursor.

Mr Conner,
I'm not sure exactly your situation but the "Cancel Subscription" button option is there only if you have your account set on auto pay with your payment option.
If you've been paying per plex or whatever method which isn't automated I don't think it will the option to cancel as it would be redundant much like this post.
Not the first time someone came on the forums claiming CCP is doing something they could not legally. All fairness sir I thought the same a couple weeks ago when I was doing the same. A corp buddy was able to walk me through the process as he was familiar with it.
