Edited by: Golden Lance on 10/04/2011 19:38:13 Hello,
While I honestly am in support of this new twist....
All "limited run" ships should be immune to banning.
Im specifically referring to Logistics Ship who fielded Remote Rep.
I can personally see the match being won or lost on if the opponent banned the right logistics ship.
In the 10 man matches of 100 points, it is STILL cost effective to field 3x Logi! Knowing 1 will get banned. Hopefully that leaves you with your real logi and a cap logi. (Not a bad duo) But tournament matches should not be decided upon chance. (Poker fans Shut it)
Scimitars (And to a lesser degree the Oneiros) will be the "ban bait" as you dont need to co-op cap transfer or anything to it, and the other team is FORCED to ban it.
Fielding a Basilisk (And to a lesser degree Guardian) tends to require fielding a cap transfer. Lose the Basilisk and you lose more points then 12. Lose the cap transfer and your really screwed, (12 for the logi AND the full dps of the cap buddy)
Yes I know you can possibly use a t3 as a logi, or other tricks, but essentially, if they ban your real "logi" then you lost the match. (Game is back on if you successfully banned their logi)
We are 100% back to local reps/ Buffer tanks.
Edited for.... Clarity and content.

Using a T3 isn't effective either as non-scrubs will just right click - look at, check you have the logistics subsystem, and then ban you if you do. ---

Nope, you dont understand.
You can field 3x of the same logi, however, only one may be fitted with shield or armor rr modules. Wether its smart to do, is another matter altogether.

a quote direct from the rules, of which it is quite obvious you have yet to read:
"4.Teams may field no more than 1 logistics ship."
and now a quote from you:
Quote: Nope, you dont understand.
you fail to understand that beside the obvious repping, certain logistics when paired together can make rather efficient capacitor factories, which is why you may only bring 1. ______________________________

Jez... No need to be rude. I am nearly certain they slipped this in as a new rule, if not... ehh. I always knew only 1 could fit repping modules, but never knew only 1 was allowed. Argument is still valid tho - Throw in a Logi and 2 Tengu's, NOW guess which is my real logi!
As for the t3 - The shield transfer module has no model (like missile launchers) AND is the same as the +5% Resist to Shields, which if your in a repping gang, your going to use regardless. (Maybe the +10% Extender, but ehh)

Rule's identical to last year, so no they didn't slip it in.
As for the tengu subystem, think you might not be paying enough attention to the extra med slot you get with supplemental screening, would be foolish to fit the logistics one instead just to confuse people as to what ship to ban.. They'll ban a tengu anyway and be happy with you losing 16 points whether or not they get the actual ship dedicated to logistics..
