Dear CCP,
I am a paying customer.
I and the hoarde of other subscribers are the reason you get paid each month.
This means you should treat us with some respect.
This means you should listen to us.
This means you should not willy nilly apply patches without giving us some modicum of notice!
New players to this game will continue to be drawn in by your shiny expansions and then run for the hills when they realise that a) stuff is broken lots b) you don't treat your customers with any respect.
Now I know eve is a dark sandbox world where people have to HTFU, but you know what I also live in the real world and guess what in that real world you guys gotta eat === pay for food == work for money == KEEP CUSTOMERS HAPPY

It is not exactly a whine. It is more of a "grievances"-post. It does lack any specific complaints and appears to deal mostly with the general reduction in the quality of new-content.
Over the years as EVE matured, the inability to deal with fundamental design flaws have marred introduction of new content. People focus on the things that aren't fixed instead of spending time enjoying the new content that DOES get released.
By wasting a whole post typing "whine" you yourself are a contributor to the whineage. Your post is in fact a "troll"-type post and as such you would have gotten a temp ban under the elite-forum rules we used to have. In software development and especially in retail software that is designed for a wider audience and not just one client the customer is almost always wrong and full of ****.

tbh I dont mind at all if you have to take the server down to fix a security flaw or such like, I work in software I get this....
The fact there are no patch notes, indicate this could be the reason, but if it is then just tell us

Anyway. You are right with CCP but it won't change anything. Eve as a game and also is a cash-cow and will be milked as long as it can be. Producer have two options earn more money with minimal work or work and earn no money.
As clients we have one option in this "fight" stop to play and stop to pay. Forums etc. Are useless till you are paying you have rights to login in.
For any changes eve customers base must go down like -100.000 players. Maybe then.. but only maybe they will do something.
But maybe Vampires MMO is priority and all money are going there. Vampires MMO will be huge so every ISK is needed. So at the end of the day "we are paying for another MMO" :) But hey! Maybe it will be good ??! Vampire slayer class ? :) (No!! i don't like Vampires and Fantasy)
You have one option. Stop paying for this game :(

I get to play this game for an hour each day, the hour after DT
When you extend it, it hurts me!
When you place a notice at 8pm the night before I don't know about it until I come to log in.....
Basically I pay you money to use this game for 1 hour each day and you keep stopping me from doing so
What do I want? simple real notice of downtimes, emergency situations aside

I feel the need to cancel your opinion with my own. I too am a paying customer and feel that patching the game is a good thing. Please continue the fixes.
At least I think that's contrary to your opinion. At one point you complain CCP are patching things, then later you complain that stuff is broken. The only clear opinion is that you feel disrespected, but you don't explain why. Would you feel more respected if CCP left the broken things alone and stopped fixing them?
While you're busy HTFU'ing in real life as well as the game, try coming to a consensus with yourself and then posting.

It's a distrssingly pervasive fallacy. your subscription is a one-way deal; you give CCP money, they give you EVE. If you don't like EVE, you stop giving CCP money. Simple as.
