Hi. I have done a run through some 0.4 systems with a delivery of spirits i picked up. The market shows that the station im delivering to wants 50,000 units. Fair enough - i bring along 28,000.
I then try and sell it and it says "This is illegal and you cant sell it here".
WTF?! The market itself says there is a buy order. Why the hell wont the station accept it - if its illegal why does the station allow it to be put on the market?!!!
Ive just about had it with the "quirks" of this game. Please help as I cant afford to be down by 12mil and dont even know where I can sell it now - or even find out how to do so.

Even looking at the "info" of the buy order shows no indication that spirits is illegal in that system - so how are we even meant to make money in this game!

there is a fine, but dissasterous line between a fart and a shart. i suggest you make sure which side you want to be on... |

I usually do planetary vehicles - but a CPU buy order for spirits in a system where u cant even sell the stuff is down right stupid! Im quite new to the game and stuff like this has put me off continuing the subscription...

To sort out your current situation, evemail the fellow with the buy order and tell him you would like to sell him some. Then do a direct trade inside the station if it's possible.

It wouldn't be Ducia that your trying to sell at..would it?
They are an Amarr station in Gallente space, and as such consider Spirits illegal. GM's have said this is a bug, a known bug, and will be addressed sometime soon(tm)

Just sent this to them on a petition:
"There is a perfectly normal Spirits sale on the market where a skull and crossbones IS NOT present. I buy this and move onto the buyers part of the market.
I then go to a station where there is a COMPUTER buy order and i CANNOT sell the items as they are seen as illegal - WTF?
Could you refund the 12.3mil i spent on these spirits and fix this game bug. I have a screenshot if necessary.
I love the game but am finding it increasingly frustrating. You will see how many others i have got to come along for the free trials - but am feeling that i should just tell them not to bother paying for the game until the simple bugs are ironed out.

Im selling in Passari where spirits arent seen as illegal - but the station is owned by a faction that thinks its illegal (or something).
I cant email the guy wanting to buy the stuff as its the CPU thats buying it!

Yes, that is the problem, indeed. Nice contradictory lists.
Many places that "buy" flag the items illegal and refuse to honor their "buy" orders. |

Thanks for all the help on this guys. All i can hope for now is that my petition will be acted upon and they refund the ISK to me. I really want to get into this game and use my ferox (which im training the skill to use :) ) - so time will tell.
If they dont refund the isk then i will be forced to cancel as i wont have any money for trading!

Hi All,
Same bug got me for 11 mil the other night. It is in Solitude Region, Pick up a load in Boystin take it 2 jumps to Laryyn (sp?). Both locations are in Gallente Space, but the Duca (sp?) is an Ammar Station. So I can't sell it there.
Both NPC buy orders and Sell orders were listed on the Market.
I think it is a bug and petitioned it.

Hit this ages ago. Stuck the spirits back up on the market in Yulai and sold em for a grand loss of 200k. Not exactly too painful.

Take the spirits to the forge region and sell them there.
There are some Nugoeihuvi stations that will probably buy them...

I think we need to start a group petition on this topic, or get some sort of official answer out of CCP because it's just plain wrong.
Buy order at a place that refuses to buy it!
I've tried it with black market trading skilled character. I've got 1.68 standings to Ducia Foundry.
Still doesn't work.
Do I need perfect standings with them?
At least if we get some sort of offical answer, even if it doesn't answer our questions exactly, it might help. Because right now it just makes no sense.
