Conscious oversimplification is only the way to ignorance and regressive behavior.

Quote: As a clarification and to serve as confirmation of Ushra'Khan's commitment to the cause, I would like to inform this gathering that Tempest Legion was removed from our alliance shortly after their joining. The reasons are numerous, but to simplify, their actions and ROE did not match those of the Ushra'Khan. They showed complete disrespect to the stated objectives of this alliance, and displayed lack of regard for our ROE. Any aggressive actions by these pilots were unsanctioned by us, and our response was swift and final. Tempest Legion is set -10 to U'K henceforth. Our apologies to any freedom fighters who were disrespected by these rogues.... weapons free.
Ah, good to know. I'll request red settings for my corp and its allies as well.

On 113-04-23 at 0015, a combined fleet of Tempest Legion, 24IC, Legion of Darkness and Knighthood of the Merciful Crown ganged up to kill a carrier belonging to anti-pirates in Resbroko. My understanding is that Tempest Legion provided the warp-in.
Seems that your corp has already made a choice regarding Tempest Legion.

I was not speaking for my corp, though your statement is disturbing. In any case, it could be better if you can provide sources or a little more information. |

Most indeed. Those 'anit-pirates' aided EM and the TLF in destroying a 24th Imperial Crusade capital fleet attempting to dislodge an enemy militia POS in Huola. Two of the ships they participated in destroying was an Archon carrier piloted by myself, and a Revelation dreadnought piloted by my wife. Thusly, 24th Imperial Crusade fleet commanders banded together and retaliated.
I was the only KotMC member to have participated in the destruction of that Thanatos, and I did not know who we were fighting nor who we were working with until after the event. I admit I do feel somewhat bad for cooperating with pirates, but getting retribution for my ship and crew wiped away any feeling of dishonor for participating in the event.
Anyway, make no mistake, KotMC is red to EM and whoever helps them against the Crusade. I am sure you have already taken efforts to ensure the same. This will not change so long as you provide armed or material assistance to those who make war upon the Empire.
Next time I suggest you do not mar your anti-pirate efforts with anti-peace efforts.

I have personally taken part in EM fleets where we have assisted the Amarr militia in killing fellow Matari due to them being outlaws. Yet on the other hand EM has a program whereby they will actually pay isk to pirates who join the militia ( The militia prize fund has no clause preventing the money going to outlaws, pirates or even Amarr loyalists should they meet the criteria. ). I never could get my head around this level of cognitive dissonance, especially when EM requires a higher standard for blue terms from other corps, any assistance of pirates or enemies of the Republic means you will not qualify for blue standings with EM.
