Why does the rook not also have a aml bonus like the cerb?
It is not op it would give around 100 dps with out any damage module
So ccp please fix this

Why should it?? Its main focus its ECM as opposed to the Cerb wish main focus is DPS.
Rook its fine the way it is. A non cloaky Falcon.

The rook is a combat recon and as a combat recon they can actually do around 400+dps and do some EW.
look at bonuses it's 50% missile bonus and 50% ecm it's both and dont try to deny it.
I am not asking for a dam buff or a ecm buff only the ability to use Aml as a cerb has.
the cerb barly outdamages the rook if fitted for dps and thats only doing kinetic, the rook can do all 4 dam types at 100% dam

I still highly doubt it will be changed. Its pretty effing nasty as it is. if you have issues with small ships and thus want to use AMLs consider using precision missiles. Ive spanked more than a few frigs in a drake that way.

There is BEYOND no reason for this.
1. A rook can perma-jam any frigate (the main target of AML)
2. A rook has 25mbit of drone bandwith for anti-frigate duty
Both of those reason are why it would be COMPLETELY STUPID to put AML on a rook.

Rooks big advantage is its range capability. ECM has high range (around 63+53 i think) Heavy Missiles have high range + with the velocity bonus the missile impact is much more comfortable than HMs on a Drake and you can evade to 100km if you want to / are forced to. Recon Lockrange covers all ranges.
So why should i give up that advantage to be forced to 50km with Assault launchers? Like others said before...you still got 25m^3 drones for defense which is pretty awesome for a caldari ship.
Frig defense is omnipresent at the rook. You almost got 5 jamming strength for wrong racial which still has very good chances in jamming a frig.
Let the antifrig-part for caracal/cerberus and let rook do what Kaalakiota stands for -> maximum missile damage power!

the Aml range would be around 60 km not 50 with good skills and with one rig 70km+ so you argument dont work.

I think the cerb is kinda of a broken ship also need to get explosion velocity bonus instead of missile fligt time bonus and give it dash more of survivability.
