With the iminent release of the fabled Transport Ships, I have been told that using one, the Gallente versions, wont actually be any better than the current Iteron V. If that is the case, what exactly are they to be used for and by whom?

They have a lot better defence than the regular industrials, so they're meant to be used in hostile places.

You'll just have to see if it's worth it to you or not, at least the option to use transport ships is there, and even if you can lose it, it gives you a better chance of escaping.

They have two stabs built in and have more armour and hull than a HAC, with equal resists. I can think of a couple of uses for them. ------------------------------------------------ I've always owned Kehmor, cheap as chips off Ebay

ôwhat if u get webbed u lose a ship u possibly didnt need and cost u 10-20 more then a normal t1 versionö The skill alone is x20 more then the T1 ship +skill. I prefer to use the T1 faster shield recharge and extra mid slots shield tank with hardeners and shield extenders. Far cheaper and almost as safe.
Blockade runner is nice but again its almost as effective and cheap to use a MK5 T1 with a MWD and anti warp scramblers. _________________________________________________ Gallente defensive innovation comes from unexpected source. |

are these transporters immune to the "Your locked by a rat so cant gate" bug? If so I would buy one. This is the ONLY time I have ever lost an Industrial, hauling through Empire or more often than not war zone 0.0 ... but hold on should I spend 20x the price and training to get round a CCP KNOWN bug that they refuse to pay up on despite screen prints?
Maybe they would swap the cargo full of Crystaline Crokite that I lost and replace it with a Transporter?
Hmmmm .....
The only thing the Gallente should host is an invasion. Backing the Caldari bid. |

hehe, un rafined ore is not a big loss, rather one loaded of zydrine (20 rafine of sad mineral) thats a bigger loss.
Oh well, last time i got stuck @ a gate i took screenshot of my invisible ship taking damage and logged off. came back seeing my itt5 having 5% armor left but alive :P

I can think of a few uses
Specially with the higher resistences... blockade running would be one of them... and a fleet of them would be funny...
