Edited by: Badass Grandma on 22/04/2011 02:40:09 My husband got me to play Eve. We compete for mining and isk but he is always a head of me. I'd like to surprise him with a bump in cash... Look honey at my wallet.
I enjoy this game in many ways. It does give us something to talk about even when we are not playing the game. Hope you find something cool to do, but many just keep one of your alts just in case. Sad to see a player like you leave. :(
edit- Can't wait to show hubby my +50mil, I just passed him by 40 mil hahaha. I agree, this is a game form that does not get a lot of press, CCP keep.

I just recently came back to the game. I love the game but one of the reasons I left was because I am horrible at making money. Would be much easier if I had a nest egg to use in order to increase my isk.

I have just received ISK from TSX01. CCP. this is legit and careful consideration is used in the decision process. please leave the site at this location as it is not hindering or de-valuing the game in any way.

Hey TSX01, I'm a new player in Caldari. Been playing for a couple weeks and working on getting a Drake. Making the ISk is a little slow at the moment, not much time to play, so the Drake is kinda far off. Any help would be awesome. Sorry to see ya go, but good luck in the future. Peace.

Gonna give this a try :p Hai, I've started to play eve about 7 years ago when my online friends from UO/Ragnarok online decided to move to a better game.
Tell the truth I wasn't really into EVE online back then and all I've done was helping them mine/organize/hauling.
After semi active for almost an year and half, I made more friends across the galaxy and start to enjoy the culture much more: it is not really about the game, it is about those who you play with.
Unfortunately, after 8 years of internet friendship, the people who introduced me to eve online decided to betray the trust around 2007: they wish to purchase numerous battleship/capital/tech2 BPO and start manufacturing in high sec and null - the problem will be the fund. so I was joyed and invested over 95% of my assets into the operation and spent countless hours hauling/anchoring equipments necessary for it. sadly one faithful night few months later, I logged in after a long weekend and noticed I'm not in the corporation anymore: I lost everything I've collected over 4 years to people I trusted the most, I've told them things I would not tell my RL friend or my parents, we've shared untold moments of glories, we were comrades in every game and we've even planned to meet up in RL in an upcoming event.
After that I became bitter and lost hope to humanity (eve-o style) after a period of grief, I decided to come back because I believe in I was too naive and I still addicted to the good side of eve online's community. so here I am, in a major 0.0 alliance, slowly recovery while enjoying every second I'm spending with my newfound family!
despite what my friends done to me, I actually don't 'hate' them anymore, I was too naive nice and weak, I've learned I could be the nicest person as long as I enforce my principle and stand strong against any doubts, I would not hesitate to help others even if I know I won't gain anything in turn and I would twitch in joy whenever I think what would be in their mind after the excitement of receive a free favor: why would she do it? should I return the favor? this made my day!
anyways that is my story... sorry my first language is not english so it might be hard to read :x
recently I've ran into a small financial problem due to ship losses and I'm trying to move into capital ships region... specially after the nerf of 0.0 region and I'm not a big fan of sit there and pewpewpew NPCs :p
thank you very much ^^

I joined Eve with a couple friends in rl and it dives us a way to stay connected... also my son who does not live with me in rl palys so we spend lots of time together in Eve. Too bad you are leaving but hope you find as much success in the rl as you have in Eve! I salute you for what you are doing to help the newer palyers. I am saving up for a Rattlesnake and am not very good at making isk, any advice?

I have been playing EVE for about a month, and have joined a great corp. I am currently saving up and skilling for a Raven. I am currently about 50-70ish mil away, and am running L3s to make up the difference. Any help toward that goal would be much appreciated.

My RL is cramping on my ability to play much. My request is a little different however; I don't wish for isk to help me directly but instead to fund the purchase and supply of some ships for my corp's newer players. We go on roams from time to time with limited success, and I'd love to buy the guys some new cruisers as a thanks for throwing some ships into space with wanton abandon!

I read through your comments and I know you say don't do industry, but I honestly enjoy it. I think it can make you some serious isk if done correctly, and due to my RL(college student) it fits my playtime the best. I can't log on for huge extended durations, but I can often log in a couple times during the day and get in some industry.
Some isk would be amazing to A) help me afford a plex this month (I have no extra money IRL, it all goes towards rent and tuition) or B) I could use some more advanced mobile labs(1-2) on a POS I plan on putting up. I'll name them both after you or kind things. :)
Thank you either way and I hope you do well in w/e you do outside of eve. I myself am in the process of getting fit for the Navy. They'll pay for college and maybe I'll have some extra *fun* money IRL instead of sweating for a plex every month to play eve. :S

I tried out the trial about a year ago and really enjoyed the game, but couldn't afford to continue to play. A few weeks ago I reactivated my account and have been really enjoying the game so far. I'm currently running missions in my Moa (god awfully ugly ship by the way) and slowly skilling/saving up to get into a Rohk. I intend to join a corp/alliance once I've got myself a little better established.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, I'm a new player (played for 2 months, left for a few, then just came back around 3 weeks ago) who has recently been royally screwed over not only by my Alliance leadership (my corp was stealth-kicked) but also my corp, getting kicked for being accused of spying, which I never did. At this point, I'm trying to not only locate a home, but get my ISK sorted out.
(This is an alt. My corp stuff involves nullsec so I don't wanna screw anything up by posting about much of anything on my main) Thanks

Originally by: Dr BattleSmith CCP have been spending a LOT of time moving threads away from the public eye recently.
Crowd Control Productions is really stepping up their game.
If only they would dedicate the same passion to developing their game.
Better be glad it isn't on other mmo's because stuff like this gets players' accounts Temp banned from the forums.

Co-Ceo to a nullsec Industry corp. Not only are we feeling the nerf to Pure Blind (sub -0.25 ftl), but a 3 year director decided to leave the corp and clean us out. We did everything as a corp, now we are trying to figure out how to even keep fuel in the towers. Working hard to get the corp back on its feet, so that our members can continue doing what they do best. As a trader I had a large sum of ISK myself, but had invested that all for our latest reaction/building project. It was terrible timing that left both me and the corp broke.
I know... never fly/invest what you can't afford to lose. I broke the rule, but that was due to the trust I had given.
We are going to make it.. but it will be a long process to get back where we were.

Confirming 35 million isk = one dollar. Thanks but no thanks brotato.
Also, take the time to research some cool corp and drop the isk on them anonymously somehow. Or start up a foundation that projects your ideals into the future. Player created content opportunity LOST.

Eve Online has an insidious pull that simply cannot be denied indefinitely. Hence, I've come back once again to New Eden.
I've been a miner most of my capsuleer career, but I've decided to take a break and travel across the empires focusing on exploration. My craft of choice: a Proteus. I'm pretty close to being able to afford all the pieces I want--only two remaining. I need another about another 50 million, and I'm good to go (already got all the modules). I should hit that in a couple of days (barring spousal aggro), but it'd be pretty sweet to be able to start my journey tomorrow.
As an aside, I've read some excellent posts here. Nice to see the happier side of the Eve community every so often. Vaedon Jack-of-all-trades...Master-of-none |

I'm a fairly new player (2 mil skillpoints or so) and I mostly do exploration and invention, but I'd really love to get more into pvp. Investing in the skills and materials to make t2 rigs seems lucrative on paper, but it has really been an isk sink and now I struggle to have enough isk to throw together a cheap rupture for attempting pvp. If you could see it in your heart to help my quest for pvp I'd be eternally grateful.

I am a quite new player finally subscribing after 2 non continued trials. Currently I am training all possible trade skills to make enough money from trading (I am FX trader IRL) to continue training later in pvp.
Any extra cash would be great to help start my business :)

Hey TSX01,
I played eve on and off for a while, but just resubbed after some time away for RL stuff. I love PVP and my biggest ambition is to do more of it, but I have major cash flow issues because of that love. I lost my hurricane before I unsubbed most recently, and don't have the cash to replace it so I'm planning to start up a trading alt to generate income for that sort of thing. Some start up funds would be really helpful as I learn this new area of eve.
Thanks for your time!
