Same here, Suddenlink subscriber in West Texas. Getting dropped back to desktop every few minutes. I've tried so many things, nothing is working. Here is the Global Crossing server I'm hitting which I'm assuming is dropping the packets:
6 40 ms 41 ms 39 ms ae1-20G.scr1.DAL1.gblx.net [67.16.141.233]
Happens completely at random, but very often.

****in in the wind here I guess. I've sent suddenlink support an email as per QT up there in hopes that they'll have a look into it sooner rather than later.
At least we know what the issue is here.

Originally by: Machater Same issue here, Suddenlink, Texas, etc.
I have been having to use a VPN(www.goldenfrog.com) for a couple months now because this issue has been around so long for me and sometimes gets better but always comes back.
I would think EvE would crawl if ran over a VPN/SSH...

Can anyone verify if this started happening after the last patch? I wonder if the way EvE talks is somehow incompatible with Global Crossing? This could take a long time if Global Crossing and/or CCP refused to look into this...
Does Suddenlink pay these people (glbx?) How does this work?

Originally by: GM Xamother In order to try and get some of the connection issues fixed we've forced the incoming connections to Tranquility to take another route so the connection will not be routed via Global Crossing. This should hopefully fix some of the issues in this thread. Observe this change will only address the problems those who are connecting to Tranquility via Global Crossing.
Those of you routed via Global Crossing, please update here if this has made any change for you.
Best regards, Senior GM Xamother EVE Online Customer Support
I'm at work as well, but will run pingplotter this evening extensively to test. THANKS!
