Is there a concise explanation for this in a faq somewhere?
If I have a bounty but my security status is high enough to enter 0,5 will people still be able to gank me at a gate, for instance, without Concord interference?
How about if I fight back at that location, but they were the aggressor?
Etc..
I just want to understand all the game mechanics related to this.

unless you're -5 or worse, you're an innocent as far as the player agression system goes, regardless of how big a bounty you have. if someone shoots you near sentries or in secure space, they'll get ganked for it just as if they shot a +10 sec status guy.

the only thing different is when someone pods you (not just destroy your ship) they get what your bounty was worth meaning if i had a bounty of 500 billion isk you'd get 500 billion isk.

followup question, yours is answered so i hope im not hijacking your thread:
what happens when you drop below a certain security status to enter a system? for example: i currently have -4.7 and therefore i am banned from 0.6 and above (or 0.5 too, doesnt matter for this question)
What happens when i enter these systems? will i be insta ganked by concord/sentries? how about my pod? IF the sentries/concord won't open fire on me when i am in a banned system, will i be flagged for everyone to kill freely? (that would make pod travel impossible too, taken that concord/sentries wont gank those)

lol, when I first got a bounty I sat in yulai at the gates and collected the loot of the many peeps who would shoot at my poor kestrel :D

Yes
Actually Concord nor Sentries will touch you.
Faction Navies will send a small gank squad after you to destroy your ship.
Really fast frigates should be able to get trough.
People however can shoot your ship and pod for free.
