I recently built this computer, but due to me needing money for real things, decided to sell it.

Core i3, 8gb ram, 1.5tb hdd mainly a media center pc, but it plays dragon age 2 and other games well. Hasn't given me any problems, just need money for a car :/

Edited by: Violent Flame on 30/04/2011 03:11:48 That computer is a tad overpriced, and I'm not saying you shouldn't reclaim what you've spent since it's fairly new, but...
Basically that computer doesn't know what to do with itself. It has far more RAM than needed for a media center PC, and it's only a dual core (granted 4 logical). Also only an onboard gpu on a Biostar mobo, so it can't do any real gaming worth a ****. Drop the price and you might get some bids. Otherwise, someone can build a better PC for less (or for just a bit more).

Edit: 'cause I was bored: same setup, brand new, on newegg, is 550.
yea i paid exactly that much for it. was trying to recoup my losses (i hate impulse buys) but i realize i prly should have started the bidding at 500.
I'm trying to revise the bid right now for a slightly lower start bid but it keeps telling me "please enter a valid value" after telling me my listing has been blocked.. *shrugs* guess ill wait a few days and see.

Edited by: Khors on 30/04/2011 08:13:44 You wont resell it and make profit. So don't bother.
edit: don't bother as in don't bother trying to sell it at the same price.

i feel embarrassed to have my first listing on ebay be filled with such mistakes and delusions of recouping my loss
I have since relisted it here, making sure to list it as used (thanks akita) and lowering the price.
thanks for the critique guys :)

You'll probably find you get more money selling the components separately. Not many people go to ebay to buy a whole pre-assembled PC. --- 34.4:1 mineral compression |
