First of all, Everyone compares an Armag with a Thron.
Why???
Did you factor in the fact that he is using every single Med and Low slot that he to do damage. Do you? Or do you also use a few tanking modules?
Did you think about this when comparing it to an apoc tank???
I use 11 out of 11 slots to tank my apoc, How many have you allocated?
As you all have said, you have to use a mwd, then a webber and prolly a scrambler on the Thron. Do you think the armag has the luxury of fitting all that? Is that awful mwd only a huge discomfort? It doesn't help you move to and from fights?
Think that Gankageddon will webb and scramble you, or can you just warp away? At your favourite fight ranges at 30km or so.
My 1on1 fights have always been at a gate, and that means 0-30km, often below 20km. Where do you meet these ships that are at 30km and with no mwd?
Did you notice that Amarr's second bonus on every ship ingame, gives a Laser Cap Help.
What do you get? damage? tracking? must be tough to live under those circumstances. Comparing gunns on the charts only work for a little while.
Did you even notice that you have a drone bay?
10 heavy drones can hit hard as hell.
Yes you need skillz, but don't whine about a ship sucking, just because you have less then adequete SP's (yes, SkillPoints). If you have below 10mill SP's in yor chosen proffesion, then don't say that the ship sucks, you haven't used it to it's full effect yet.
Do you think an apoc pilot can fit 8 Tachs and Mwd, + tank?
Or even 8 Mega Pulse + Mwd and tank?
Or even 8 Mega pulse and tank? This might be possible, but not with tech2 gunns. I tried.
And that's with the ship with the most PG ingame and maxed skills.
So is it so horrible then that you (with the exact same slot layout, apoc VS Thron) can't fit everything you want on the ship?
Are you alone out there with this problem?
Did you also forget that Gallente owns all the classes beneath BS's.
Cruisers ceptors and HAC's. Frig will always be the kessie, but the incursus isn't far behind.
