Haven't been following any news since I stopped but I've been watching the sovereignty map. Noticed alliances in the NC have been moving in on IT space.. Then I started seeing other alliances I didn't recognize moving in... What's the news on this? I remember before IT the previous alliance forgot to pay their bills and then lost their space in short time.

Well Goons once again beat down SirMolle and his band of l33t space pilots and they all stopped logging on. Since Delve is horrible space nobody bothered to go through all the structure shooting necessary to take systems there until now. It's nbd.

I.T. alliance is effectively dead it seems. The non-defense of Fountain and deeply rooted leadership issues seemed to be the cause of corps departing.
Their space seems to be up for grabs, but few seem to be showing any interest, or perhaps don't want to be canon fodder for a PL or similar large super hot-drop while bashing TCU and other structures. I can only guess at why so slow.
Meanwhile people are preparing popcorn to see what happens (collapses) in the North, and the Russians are moving into the buffer that is Geminate.
I don't really keep up to date with nulsec happenings though.

Long story short, they failcascaded under pressure during their first serious war and all of the corps left for other alliances. IT are a non entity / holding alliance and the only reason they're still on the map is that nobody with the manpower to grind the sov away wants the space enough to bother doing it. Nobody wants to miss out on the fun in the north atm.

Yeah, because when you're bad at lowsec PvP, you get thrown out on your ass to nullsec.

haha. i left IT right after new year. and week or 2 after i got news that my old home systems are lost.... great luck :D
Now i'm in alliance which is blue to those who captured that regions. And some time ago i visited that place....
empty systems.... 1 person in system i've seen 20+ before.... people cry about losing military and industrial levels.... but many known names are live still there :D
politics doesn't bother real carebear :D

Yes, it looks like you said about.
But that was different story. I wanted to organize my own corporation, maybe move to WH or something. I started to gather info and plan some tasks. My corp CEOs got this news and kicked me. Only normal CEOs paranoia. But at the end my old corp still holds almost the same space under other alliance (they left IT too). My plane about my own corp became not interesting and i am in other carebears corp.
And what about IT alliance? Well. I never was visible for it. I'm just carebear. And "carebear must feel pain". I just live and pay my rent for system i took. I don't care who is owner of this space.
