awww I have to admit I'm disappointed.
but only because when I glanced over I thought we were finally going to be able to buy quafe again : ( or that you were trying to get quafe to all of us in real life by having it at PAX or some such.

I scanned through that devblog really quickly and at first misread it as they were now allowing us to make Quafe from PI.

I like this gift. It has actual use and you have many enough so you can have your collectors item and still actually use a few of them. Much better than another useless ship.

Guys, it's scanning speed not flying speed (plus 5% scan resolution). So at 5% it's pretty much useless.
I was hoping for a bottle of real Quafe.

No, that's not what it says. It says "Speed and Scan Resolution"
That means you go 5% faster and you lock your target faster cost your scan res is higher. This makes Quafe zero the ducks guts and the Best present Ever(tm) (And indispensable for AT9)
Alternatively it means that CCP's grammar fails, I am wrong, you are correct and this is the biggest letdown since CCP Nozh "rebalanced" Abuthur's capital changes.

velocity modifier 5%
scan resolution bonus 5%
when in doubt right click.

I'm looking at the attributes in game now and it's Velocity Modifier: 5% and Scan Resolution Bonus: 5% so it's definately flying speed.

the gift was different from what everyone expected, which is interesting, but unless i'm missing something other than it being related to some EVE pop culture (Quafe) the truth is that it sucked, really bad. Is was all hopes high to get to today, to be surprised at least with a gourmet designed ship as the Zephyr and instead we got 6 1h booster cans.
I feel very disappointed.
