The role of a miner. You are the Cheese in the cat and mouse game. Here is some things I would recommend: 1) Keep a low profile - sorta blown for now as you may have made some enimies in this thread but that won't last for ever. - so for keeping a low profile - mine in areas that others are not - usually places with out stations. If you can dual box do so. so one is you hauler one is you miner. The non stations systems will have larger roids and will have so much fewer traffic. - head to areas that are not near the trade hubs, once again fewer people. 2) Mine in places people don't expect - run some missions, you will find some with lots of roids. Mine in there, people won't bother you there a there are easier people to can flip. But do it away from high population areas otherwise you will get ninja looters who may.... well be creative. 3)Switcheroony - Bribe a friend in a cloak ship to get a can for you to put your ore in. When the guys flip the can your cloaked friend will have shooting rights on the guy. If the guy panics he will try and shoot you, resulting in concording because since it is not you shooting at him. 4)Merc Corp - Often the group of agressors will be in there own corp, Hire a merc corp to wardec them. 5)Bio - your current bio - needs to be changed, eventhough you are honest, you are looking like someone who is going to be easy to target. And is going to complain which is often referred to as Care Bear tears. Bio- THIS IS A TRAP - will you be victum # 21?
6)When you are targeted - do the opposite you are doing. Ie Grade them.. tell them how they can do a better job, compare them to another group of can flippers and tell them that they do a better job and you only pay the better thief protection money. Or do something to mess with their heads. even speaking a language they don't under stand
Also check out Eve Academy they have some great tutorials and my have something that can help you.
hope this helps
I see you have been in and out of corps often. Look for one that is above 30 and less than 60 and has a strong PVP bone in it, like a Low sec based corp. you may find friends and help there.
here we go again! |
