CCP supports greifing. If you don't like it, this isn't the game for you.

Depends what kind of griefing, they don't support newb bashing for instance. So no, you're not 100% correct.
Look at you. You didn't even make a good argument.
So no, you're not 100% correct.

Originally by: Shawna Gray They dont. You just dont know what griefing is.
"A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game that deliberately irritates and harasses other players."
So petition the griefers and see how far you get.

So if there's so many bad people in Goons, why haven't they been mean to each other so much to collapse?
Anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone figured out a reason why griefing is bad yet?
No?

Actually, a few posters have (in slightly differing ways).
For me, it is basically this: doing something allowed by the mechanics of the game to an extent that it no longer serves actual game purpose, it only serves to irriate, belittle, and annoy other players.
I see where you're coming from, but imo, that's still not "griefing" in terms of how Eve defines/enforces it. in other MMOs, absolutely it would be.. but Eve actually spells out what it considers to be griefing in the EULA, does it not? While those actions you describe would make you an in-game jerk, ****, asshat, whatever, they, for the most part, still do not constitute "griefing", as they are still within the EULA.
Notice though that I said "allowed by game mechanics". I realize that in Eve, most forms of griefing (defined as above) are perfectly legal...that doesn't make them good things to do.
Define "good".
If you mean by the abstract concept of "morals", then you'd need to define morality.
No hurries, I'll wait.
