Or something along the lines of company of heroes. That game was epic.

WTF!! you got my hopes up and then that guy states August... So an announcement for an announcement.
No point in whipping it out yet then now is there?
I would love to see both those games. Last I heard for the delays was:
1. HW was locked in legal who owns what quagmire with Venvidi (or whatever).
2. COH lead was killed by some chick who has high and wrecked her car into him (She was fine of course)
That or the third option is going to be Dawn of war 3. They already stated the last expansion was it for DOW2 before they started real production for 3.

I read something about that game and was interested then never heard from it again. Did it ever get into the distribution phase?

It should be released SoonÖ, planned for some time this summer.
You can already "pre-order" the game (30$), and as a "bonus", get access to all intermediate betas and RCs as they come along.
At least that's what they claim on their site.

i know a few people who currently play achron regularly, so it is at least in a playable state. theres some youtube replays up if you look hard enough as well
