While I'm appreciative of the fact that the lack of updates probably means all hands are busy at battle stations, I would be even more appreciative if it would be at all possible to give an ETA or possible causes of sudden downtime.

Yup, our Operations guys called and awoke me from my beauty sleep. This was affecting forums too though so took me a while to get in and post.
Tranqulity is now up in testing mode by the way.

I have common sense, but really it all comes down to what the actual problem was. I'm thinking it might not even be purely CCP's problem because I noticed a few other internet services having congestion problems.
Suppose things like this can happen when a 70 million people large network goes down for along time.... They need something to do :P
