Can a beacon be used simultaneously with a jammer?

if there is a jammer in place you can NOT jump into the system and all cyno beacons go offline
only exception is a covert cyno

To OP, Why would it be unfair? Same rules apply to all 0.0 holding alliances...
Yes it does create some interesting challenges to logistics work, but nothing that you could not adapt.
If you want to blame someone from this change? Then you just need to look at 0.0 alliances and how they project their force. CCP desided to make that more difficult for them.
Just means alliances will adapt to new limitations and then its business as usual..

For those of us not well-versed in the ways of nulsec, could someone explain in layman's terms what the current system is, the practical manipulation of said system, the changes that appear to be forthcoming, and why such a change might be beneficial/problematic?
Mostly just because I'm trying to get a better handle on the game as a whole. :)

atm most supply's are jumped in from jita with the help of JF
seeing that all important station systems are cynojammed the JF jump to a JB and then use the JB to get into the station system
with the first change all capital ships with jumpdrive will no longer be able to use the JB including the JF
however a JF is able to use normal gates so they will change from jumping the JF in at a JB to jumping it in at a gate
gates however are slightly less safe as the dont have POS guns near

to add on to the prevous post.
currently you are allowed 2 jump bridges per system, so you jump into the system a quick warp to the next JB and on to the next system. For me a 35 jump path is down to 6 jumps via the JB system.
If there is a reduction to 1 JB per system, you will now jump into a system, go to the gate, jump to the next system, then warp to the JB. So now my 6 jump path is now 12 because of the gates.

I wonder if this is a good time to get into freighter production?

I think it will be interesting but don't forget 3 years ago we didnt have JF's or Jump Bridges. Alliances worked it out and still lived and died.
I am happy for this change, I used to have to do 4hr freighter opps from empire to Impass 2 times a week. 0.0 should not be a "safe" haven for anyone.

You forget about jump freighters. Plus any alliance that can afford a jump bridge network likely has a number of titans available for bridging stuff around as well. Old school freighter convoys will not make a come back.
But this is only a small step in making 0.0 dangerous and competitive again.

This change is good in every way.
Jumping has made the material transport ridiculously safe.

Because banding together, forming superpowers and projecting force is not a natural occurance in human nature

Now that is true now alliances will have to plan supply routes for there numerous things out there they need to thrive
Now im wondering how ima be brought into nullsec in a few months...

I thought I read in a dev blog somewhere that with one of the new updates you will be able to install gate guns and station guns in systems you hold SOV in? has that update just not gone live yet? Or did I misread something? It will really suck though to only be able to have 1 jump gate per system. I'm sure we will get used to it fast enough.
