Originally by: Mo Shizzler Many characters from both groups share the same character creation dates. These days are 2010.08.31, 2010.03.14, many of the others were probably purchased characters, having been in many different corps, but have been in npc corps for 3 months 8 days, 5 months and 4 days or 11 months and 28 days.
If you look back you'll find those dates coincide with "Power of Two" promotions. You'll see a similar thing with the courier bots around Ingunn (if they haven't been banned).

Has anyone got sreegs attention to this thread yet? Good bunch of miners here for them to check.

Well it's almost 3pm and these miners haven't logged in yet. They've never logged on this late before. Either CCP got to them, or they've seen this thread and are in hiding.

Edited by: Mo Shizzler on 12/05/2011 18:06:39 The 27 still haven't logged in, looks like they got the banhammer. The 35 miners in the 5 man groups is online though. Most of them logged on at the exact same time. These guys mine even more insane long hours than the 27 did too, strange.

So it turns out that none of these 62 miners have been banned afterall, since they're all now logged in.
It's interesting how a day after this thread was made, the 27 strong group of them stopped logging in for a few days. It's almost as if they saw this thread and decided to lay low until people stopped paying attention to this thread.

Yes for asking. You wouldn't ask if you had no fear of being caught.

Group 1 appear to have started mining almost 23/7. If you add all of these characters to contacts you can see them logging on and off all at once in their two seperate 35 and 27 man groups.

Maybe they got 3-day bans?

Already done, they got no tank, unless you count 3x civilian shield boosters as tank.

The stickied post on this forum states the first ban is for 2 weeks, so I doubt that.

A geddon or typhoon, or any cheap battleship that can fit 8 smartbombs. You'll need a few cap injectors too.

Or, cheaper and just as effective (not as good as smartbombs probably) - a group of thrashers with Arty highs and Gyros in the lows, no point in tanking or cap injecting etc.

Mo Shizzler, you have just made top list in my books. I'm organizing an anti bot fleet of gankers.
Join my channel "Bot Grief"...email me, join our movement. I have use for you. I have a fleet of pilots ready and waiting to deal with those macros.
My forces need your scouting.

Edited by: Nuestro Padre on 06/06/2011 20:55:17 Was recently mining ice 3 jumps from JAN, there was 4 macs with characters named after different types of wines plus their Corp ticker **** and one orca pulling from the jetcans. One of the PvPers, who was also mining with us, decided to flip the jetcan and name it the same name it had. When the orca came in to empty the jetcan, it became criminally tag, so he warp scrammed the orca and popped it. Afterwards the pod kept coming back to the ice field to pick up its load not realizing it was a pod. This continued the whole time we were there mining our ice quota. The PvPer also placed is orca near the bots mining and just filled it up as time went by. We were LOL our a$$ off the whole time, he was getting free ice at a bot's expense.

I'm hoping to see a few more empty belts as the weeks go by. Already noticing that a few systems I travel through are less well populated, and I'm pretty damn certain a lot of the residents were bots.

It's happening all over the place, ever since CCP's little "security seminar" at Fanfest... you know, the one most people walked out of after 5 minutes...
I wholeheartedly endorse players stepping up to perform such civic duty, the EVE economy has been expanding incredibly fast the last few years due to endless floods of cheap materials, to say nothing of the proliferation of supercaps.
I now direct your attention to KINO... and the neighbouring systems. It's... shall we say... "infested".

Is this a player taking the initiative and helping ccp fight the bot war by doing investigation on his own, taking notes and providing great evidence of bots?
This can't be!! Players are just supposed to whine and complain about bots on the forums, not actually make an "effort" to help ccp fight bots.
+5 to you good sir! Thank you for your time to help fight bots!
LOL obsidian you win the great post of the day. Also, you're right. +5 from me as well sir!
As a side note, every bot that I've investigated and petitioned/reported to CCP have not been seen again. they're really working on it, and if you want to see results, go find them bots yourself!
