Im just saying, fly a dominix.
The problem is, people are trying to compare the best XXX weapon ship with the not-so-best YYY weapon ship.
Its pretty easy to realise ships with any active tank bonus/tracking bonus raises red flags.
Its like saying.
Autocannons sux compared to rocket kestrels , because probe sux so much at using autocannons.
Hybrid Hyperion sux compared to (insert ship), because hyperion sux so much at using hybrids.

Please post the Dominix fit that you used to get the 1259 raw DPS figure in your graphs.
I already derived the fit ofc, but I think it's only fair to give you the opportunity to make yourself look stupid.

the second the FC gives the command align to xxx the domi DPS either falls down to 350 dps with rails , or it's range falls down to 12km with blasters - either is a losing proposition.
Regardless of how much people care about sentry drones and cruise missiles this is (yet another) hybrids discussion , and I think we should stick to the OP's question.
The truth is 425 II's that the OP trained for, underperform.
There's no doubt that kronos(which uses the said guns) is considered, by the community as a whole, as the worst marauder - mostly because of the guns it uses.
Most fleet BS's come in minmatar or amarr flavors - there's fleets of literally 100's of ships without a single one being a rokh, mega or hyperion(or even domi).
Situation is similar with most classes of turret ships , the exception being smaller 1:1 encounters (since frigs are usually 1:1 that is where blasters shine, although notice that rails are bad even here).
It is uncontroversial that hybrid turrets are lacking. Is it because the devs relied on drones to make up the difference - I don't know.
The reason doesn't matter anymore. What matters(to me) is whether CCP will alter them, and if yes how they will be altered.
I've always flown gallente, but it would be stupid to ignore reality and since I have the relevant training I now fly more ... effective ships.

Gallente is not on par because hybrids are not on par. Sure domis can be great ships but using drones (sentries included) will always be more of a hassle than relying on turrets or missiles.
there really isn't much more to add to that.
