I recreated this week my corp logo after nearly two years. I found a set of very ancient emblems. More taken out of a fantasy game instead of a scifi game, like daggers, swords heraldic figures, together with a three layer system and a very small color palette.
What I wish is a building blocks system with more abstract elements you can choose from together with letters, which you can move arround and rearrange on layers, colorize, and create an individual corp logo. The way it was integrated in a mmo shooter based on the UT engine last year to paint graffitis for cars, clothings etc.
Most corp logos ingame differ only in color and the way you can stack the orginal emblems.

I didn't bother to read your post but the title is what I want anyway. I've thought of this myself. It's pretty lame when someone else's corp's logo looks just like yours.

Yeah, that's what I meant many corp logos look equal.
Now they have this datacenter NVidia render racks to rerender char images, why not integrate a simple corp logo paint tool with precreated 3d elements you can rearrange, use simple boolean operations on it and will render corp logos at CCPs NVidia datacenter solution?

I think, in part, CCP are trying to ensure half of New Eden doesn't have a ***** (cannot believe the male genetalia is in the word filter...) as their corp logo. I think the current tools are designed to make it difficult to create any kind of obscene images.

Yeah the devs spoke about this at fanfest, the only reason they havent given us the ability to paint our ships or make emblems is "The time to *****".
They know how creative we are and they will do everything in there power to prevent fleets of space *****es from taking to the dark skies.

To derail this topic, can we suggest that the male sex organ be removed from the word filter. Surely we're all adult enough to deal with the word *****. And it'd really help to have a casual term of abuse to hurl...

Not that I had this in my head, when I was starting this topic: "People who will create corp logos with buddhistic signs and are not part of this religion." But what I would prefer is a redesign of the existing emblems, more scifi, that 3d compositing method I spoke above from, having this emblems in 3d, change the light, change camera view, make an image, and a way to integrate an abbriviation or corp name.
I see ingame this npc corp logos and then I see mine and/or that of other corporations  .
Otoh, what's with alliance logos, somebody could sent CCP an image with a ***** photography?
