I think this is the right place to put this. Someone told me that a Station Container is useful in trade and making sure the NPC's don't know how much X you have.
Can anyone validate this? What are station containers for?

For organizing your stuff, mostly.
I am not sure NPC's care about what you have.
Fly me to the moon and let me play amongst the stars.. let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars.. |

Could have been a classic case of misinformation. If anyone has any ideas on what or how these Station Containers play any part in the game, let me know. I accidentally bought one and had to learn about it because I couldn't repackage it for 21 days and blah blah blah annoying container...

Afaik, station containers plays no part in the game other being a isk sink and being helpful in organizing your stuff

Organizing your stuff. The locked/auditable ones, like you have, are for use in a corp. It can be password protected and the log notes who took what from the can. |
