Hi there MD, I've started up this alt character to start dabbling in the art of Station Trading and wanted to know if the Connections Social Skill influences Broker fees.
I did try googling this and every page I looked at gives a different answer. I'm working out of Rens, and this character only has default Minmatar standings if that makes any difference.

Looking at Thoraemond's chart
I don't think adjusted standing is taken into account when calculating broker's fee but I'll let him confirm that.

Confirmed.
The standings used to compute Market Order Broker Fees are the base standings (i.e., unadjusted by Social skills) of the faction and corporation of the station where the order is to be posted to the Pilot who is posting the order.
Right now, the only skill that changes Market Order Broker Fees is Broker Relations.
As with everything in New Eden, this could change, and if CCP are working on changes to Social skills, perhaps this bears watching over coming months.

A cool and useful chart. Very nice.
Curious if anyone has looked into expanding that into determining the benefit/return on increasing standings? If you were to take an acceptable (but obviously debatable) rate of say .25/hr Corp and .05/hr Faction standing increase, at what point is it no longer significantly necessary/reasonable to raise standing, if your goal is a non-mission running trade pilot?
Along the lines of the ME/PE max determinations.
