I made a newbie mistake because while fighting pirates some *snip* in a destroyer targets me while i'm fighting pirates and 1 missile hit him before i could stop firing.
Now my faction is screwed up,i can't get missions from the guy i was dealing with.So i go to someone else who gives me a disgruntled employee mission and the bookmark location is either the wrong place or the mission is bugged because no one is there.
How in the world do i fix this or do i have to start over? all this happened in newbie space too.

Kaikura you need to train your social skills, diplomacy in your case.

hrm...maybe turn auto-target off next time?
would that work? i'm considering doing that myself since it never seems to work the way i want it to anyways.

In your options set auto lock back to 0 targets. That should work.

yes, but if something targets you and you begin targetting automatically, does the popup still appear?

No. It only pops up with you manually try to target another player.

Maybe it needs 2 warps to get there? I've had that several times - reselect the bookmark and tell it to warp again after it stops the first time.
