As I mentioned elsewhere...

I'm at least glad that us being out of it leaves room for such well established, dedicated, and DEFINITELY NOT FAKE alliances like "The Conglomeration of Ill Advised Ideas" whom have 23 members total among 6 corps that all joined up less then two weeks after the tournament was announced... and a total of one kill by one member during their entire existence as an alliance."

Your chances of winning are a lot better when you have 5 or 6 teams in the tournament, after all.

Thank god we have Power of Two, they have been preparing for this for months, by deftly adding their first (and only) loss to their kill board.... an orca.
Nobody in that alliance has ever shot at another ship apparently, but that's ok, that just means they will be EXCITING underdogs, right?

BRB signing up a ton of dummy alliances to sell literally free slots to the group stages
is literally going to happen. There is the potential for some matches that will be complete non-matches because a team is pretty much facing themselves. It ****s over the whole idea of the tournament.
Hence why we see so many of what are CLEARLY dummy alliances that are serving as Alliance X's A, B, C, and D teams.
