Hello, I'm in need of a bit of advice for a good setup/ship advice for ratting and, if possible, running anomalies (sanctums/heavens) in Blood Raiders space.
I'll rundown the conditions/setup in which I play so you can have an easier time narrowing down:
- I can fly any BS/T2 BS/Pirate BS. Cannot fly marauders yet (only skill to be trained). I also have all the large T2 weapons/all T2 drones. Only sub-par weapon systems are Missiles which are decent. - I have perfect fitting skills, elite armor/shield tanking. - I rat/run anomalies in own space, fairly quiet and I am used to keep an eye on local - I have an alt in a Noctis that will do the looting/salvaging. - I hate hauling ammo/boosters. - I don't want to spend more than 1.1-1.2 B - No capital ships.
*This pretty much narrows the list to lazor boats if I'm not wrong. If I can live with the discomfort of carrying ammo around, the increase in completion speed is worth it? *How much of an upgrade is a nightmare as opposed to T1 BS (or the odd Navy issues)? *Can I use the same ship for ratting and also for running sanctums/heavens? *Can I also take down the officer spawns? I had a meeting with an average officer last days and he was quite tough to crack with my 'geddon. Also really close of dieing few times.

this is somewhat cheap and a bit better from a domi also domi needs cap boosters to run tank...

anything "better" than this goes to: Tengu but requires cap boosters due to neuting, Nightmare (cap boosters again), maelstrom...cap boosters needed, Machariel you know the answer cap boosters needed, any carrier, CNR(?) PS: try to run a nightmare without cap boosters + x-large booster and rats neuting

Not really; in terms of efficiency drake is sub-par to any T1 BS solution, even when factoring in the travel time between belts (in anomalies that doesn't count at all). Also, drake's kin bonus is useless against Blood Raiders.

Is this still a better option when taking in consideration traveling time as opposed to an Amarr BS warping in at optimal and blasting stuff away?

This actually looks pretty decent and is able to swap mods around depending on situation (more dps/less tank for ratting, opposite for officer spawns, etc.). Unlike the nightmare it can fit an awesome tank without spending ISKs on faction mods, however a big chunk of the damage is done by drones which reduces your mobility and increases time spent in a belt if using anything else but sentries. Also cap stable and not that much micro-management; a great option to consider. Can this be efficient as well with torps+TP?
