Using real spaceships to influence "plot" and crashing a wedding and murdering the wedding party = good player interactive actions that should bring interest and dynamic play to everyone.
Using it as an excuse to take the mickey out of roleplayers and act all superior in local because other people don't share your playstyles = a bit poor.
So I think it was good that VOTF could wardec the brides corp and arrive and attack her, but they should have left it at that and let the deeds do the talking. No need to turn it into an anti roleplay rant or childish stuff in local. Game world was effected, feud has been established. What else is needed?
Oh and grats to Lucian for going after the killers in his Raven ... gutsy gesture!

It doesn't take balls to crash a party. It takes a large number of belligerent people who take delight if messing up something that really had nothing to do with them in the first place. Having balls would have been to warp in one battleship and challenge the bride to 1v1 when they ask if anyone doesn't not wish the marriage to go forth.

It would be a suprise if such an event would have gone flawless. To whoever killed the pair, you suck. There wont be such a big player made event soon.

It is pathetic how easily civilized behaviour is tossed out the window and how quickly people de-evolve when seated at a computer desk.
"This is a game and in it I can do things I would never do in real life"....
I think you mean COULD never do in real life. If there were no punishment for crimes such as breaking into a wedding and shooting the bride in broad daylight, I have no doubt that most of you so-called "role player pirates" would do just that.
VOTF, once again, such a class act. 
When at last they discover the center of the universe there will be many people who will be dissapointed that they are not it. |

Second one that I know of. The first happened in New Caldari at the Ceremonial grounds with afew of the dev's present. Megacyte was "thrown" over the happy couple and one person self-destructed their ship to celebrate.
