A few years ago John Rourke aka Ian Chisholm decided to make an eve film with a difference. That project became the EVE based Machimina hit that was Clear Skies, winning an award at the Machimina Film Fest in 2008, this all happened during my podcast days so I was lucky enough to meet him one evening in a Norwich pub when he told me he planned a sequel. Clear Skies 2 was even greater than it's predecessor longer more in depth in plot and character development and on a much grander scale thanks to willing volunteers and support from CCP. After Clear Skies 2 it seemed that Ian was exhausted after so much time working on the two films, almost all his time outside of work was eaten up by the projects. But the community wanted more, so Clear skies 3 was put into production two years ago. We now reach the end of that journey with a post made by Ian earlier today on the Clear Skies facebook group. Quote: OK I've not gone away, thanks all for the crazy postings :) I've been doing around 15hrs a day this week, which means good progress! twitch Three scenes need some shots redoing with finished art assets in place. One scene (count 'em) needs the exterior shots doing and the sound foley'd and balanced. There is then the checking, bugfixing-and-subsequent-scene-re-rendering, and the 16 hour long final render and check. All this stuff takes time, but if I continue doing how I've been doing, it should be in picture lock and at the bugfix and render stage for the weekend. Fingers crossed. Once I showed it to a friend who doesn't play EVE and she liked it a lot, just for the mere humour and plot twists. Kudos to Ian Chisholm!!! One thing we could learn from this is that in the end we all like Incarna like things. What would Clear Skies be without characters? I hope that one day EVE will provide all the means necessary to make a Clear Skies like movie with just in-game content.

As for the replication, it should go fairly quick to replicate, after all I'm told the movie will fit on a BD /c Secure 3rd party service \| in-game 'Holy Veldspar' Now /w voice
