Plex prices have gone through the roof and straight into outer space.
Don't break PLEX for AUR. Instead insert an Aurum item and go with that.
Plex is already messed up don't mess with further more. |

you know plexes used to be 500million and up. At least they were in 09 when I last played. I felt pretty jipped when I bought some recently and only got like 700million.

Creating a new use for PLEX other then game time is a good idea (especially for profitability from CCP).
This will do one of two things: - Create an influx because people want to play spaceship barbie and bring plex prices down.
- A bit more people will buy plex then normal to sell them, but a larger group of people want to buy them for Aurum.
There may be other variations, but ill claim ignorance and stick with these two.
There are MANY micro transactions coming, clothes isnt just the begining.

Give it some time and we will see prices stabilize again. With the new announcement on aurum happening just recently, supply hasn't caught up with demand yet.
Now is a good time to sell but anticipate and speculate that prices will fall rapidly soon. |

I am wondering why they want to add a new currency called Aurum. I don't know what the difference is between buying wearings with ISK or Aurum. Stupid idea, I think, Aurum is. And last but not least, why should I buy a PLEX to buy Aurum buying clothings I only can see sitting or standing in a CQ and after I get bored watching my new look I can resell for ISK? Yes, walking in stations is the target CCP aims (a thing they talk since many years about, as they talk many, many years about other important game play changes), but why a second currency?

Would be nice to have daily/weekly subscription option with gold for people who only can play on weekends and don`t need to train that much anymore and so forth. Lots of possibilities.

It would be a little awkward if you had to trade in a single Plex worth 300 to 700 million all at once. Aurum lets you pay for a single hat instead of 2,000 hats at once. |

@OP.. you don't go anywhere with your complaint.. If people want Vanity Items, a part of todays Cash>PLEX trade will automatically go the Cash>AURUM way and PLEX will be less offered.. You can't change that, as it's a basic principle. If by some magic not more Cash>PLEX/AUR trades are being made (prob by new subscribers) the current Cash-flow will have to support both the gametime and the vanity item demand. Welcome to higher PLEX prices.

cheapest thing i saw was a pair of boots for like ú3
you know we have places like Primark in the UK where we can spend that much cash on clothes for ourselves...what in gods name makes you think people are gonna spend that on internet spaceship clothes?!?!
unless ofc your planning on sending a life size version to us also then by all means prices are fine ---------------------------------------------

I agree, the aurum cost for stuff from the noble market is crazy, a skirt costs almost the price of 1 converted plex, plex costs ú13, whywould i spend ú13 of real money buying a virtual skirt when i could spend ú13 buying a REAL skirt that i could wear?
It's more expensive than the avatar marketplace on xbox live.
CCP, PLEASE drop these aurum prices, they're ridiculous! One converted plex to aurum (3500) should be enough to buy a complete clothing set for a character, not just a pair of shoes or a t-shirt!

Why the hell didn't they just make it so it was ISK so that people had something to spend all the billions they had gathered on?
Thanks CCP, you said you'd keep an eye on PLEX prices and now look what happens, you're beginning to sound like the Federal Reserve.

PLEX is still selling in Jita for around the 300 mill mark, though some are trying to rip people off by charging 400-500 mill.
