Full Disclosure - Too many points brought by Mos Vape Heavy Industries

Unfortunately, this wasn't caught before the match had been started, but as a result of this, despite having the most points, they will receive only 50% of the points they scored. We strive to catch this prior to the match starting, so we can handle this by letting the team remove one ship to bring them in the correct points, but ultimately, it is still the teams responsibility to ensure they are fighting within the rules. This will be the rule used in case other teams are found to be over points, 50% reduction in points scored, and a loss no matter how many points you have.

Then some people didn't show up, so we had to switch from 2 small ships to the mega, which put us over on the points. We are only around to have fun anyway, and we certainly did. It's our fault entirely, and I'm glad CCP missed it or we wouldn't have gotten to fight at all :) The points aren't terribly important, but we'll try to advance next week. It was a fun fight and will get lots of laughs I'm sure. Thanks to The Kadeshi for warping in at 0, or it would have been very boring indeed.

That's only fair to the team who brings the correct number of points. The point system has been posted for a long time, it's the teams' responsibility to bring a legal setup. CCP can help them by warning them about an illegal setup, but it's ultimately the fault of the team.

It always impress me when people fail to use EVE-time as their default. This is a single-server game with all TZ's, who the **** cares and know where what TZ is. All we should know is what our EVE +/- is. It's not very complicated. The client even state the gametime at the bottom, very convenient. -
