Originally by: Robert Tepnox Reading the same sh*t and whining of you guys out there, as every patch comes out. Blahblah here and there, nothing to take serious. Make a step forward and move on with the progress, CCP is able to build up. If they would struggle on the current base, like many guys here want to see, there will be no progression of new eve-players, maybe no future to eve.
For me, the recent GUI sucks and feels like a structural design, that works a decade before. Hope that this will get improved soon, see forward to it. Despite the fact, I like the idea of the avatar and character-design. This will be the main-point to focus of interest on new users, identifying with themselves and the game. People who argue against that, force the "no-progress". No-Progress means no-future to eve.
And yes, the technical Shader implementation was introduced a decade in past. So stop whining all the way out, declaring your old hardware nobody wants to know. Wake up and accept the progress, otherwise keep your self-loving-memorial-ideals for yourself. People at CCP are not dumb. They know what they do. Just believe in 'em and everything will be fine! Period.

CCP is looking forward and not behind. I am playing EVE since 2005 and I can't follow most of the nerd's problems. I don't care about some bugs because overall they don't really affect my gameplay. I make my kills, I have my losses, sometimes I petioned. The game is a business. CCP is a big company. It's not about the game only. CCP has a strong corporate identity and their representation by web-content or a fan fest is just impressive. Even the E-ON magazine is a special task. I just laugh every time at these whining, complaining smartas*-kids without a life experience. But some day - hopefully - you have been grown up and you understood that all the yelling at a corp doing a good job for our entertainment was just embarassing. If you don't like it, just drop it. That's one great gift of our modern society: "You have the freedom to decide!"
First useful post of this thread, thank you.
