So much *****ing and whinning about outdated GPU's and incompatability, seriously stop *****ing in the release thread, wait until the patch is released then ***** and whine if it doesn't work in the feedback thread, you are only wasting storage space on CCP's servers, no wonder they delete really really old forum topics and topics that have not been looked at for more than a year.
Overall the release should be good, it won't affect players in GPU terms, in fact it will lighten the load a tad bit by being able to render more at the cost of less hardware usage, thats the whole idea of Carbon.... *mumbles* the idiots on this forum i swear.
Also, if u are having problems with chracter customisation it might be because u are using an ATI, 90% of games are run and tested on Nvidia, so please, please, check the god damn ATI website to see if there are any updates for your GPU's driver software and it might fix the problems you are having!!!
MAC users, everyone loves to have a MAC, some people can't afford to upgrade? do what i do, just upgrade if it isn't compatable and sell the old junk at an asian tech shop, the amount of gold in Computer hardware is worth alot u know, the depreciation in value is due to performance, so it is worth more than it looks. (little history lesson, when i was really young, say maybe 8 years old, about 10 years ago back in 2000, gold was worth about 100 US per ounce, now? 10 years later? it's worth 7-8 Times more than that)
So please stop with the over spammage of reapeated posts about what about shader 2.0, what about MAC users? oh no my hunk 'o' junk is gonna not be able ot run EvE *sobs in corner and posts sobing thoughts on EvE-O forums* and get witht he god damn times, u don't have to upgrade your hardware, upgrade your damn software first to see if it helps, also Don't run Vista, roll back to XP at least, or get Tiny XP if it's a PC specificly for gaming, or better yet, get Windows 7 and use classic mode.
One final note, This is a *Quoting hand signals* "Disscusion thread" *stop using quoting hand signals* where you say, sweet new things in game, or oh no they are doing something that messes with something i do alot of, so please wait for the *Quoting hand signals* "Feedback thread" *stop using quoting hand signals* before you complain
