UTC is a more precise 'version' of GMT to put it simply. Current British time is GMT+1 also known as British Summer Time.
EvE time is UTC, previously GMT before UTC was introduced as the standard world-time.
i never work with gtc i keep it firmly on gmt
thats how i learned to calculate times with and what ever new clock they introduce i aint gonna work with
same as that i dont work with am / pm

Does UTC still starts over greenwich like GMT, like every longitude lines [divided by hour] to the right [going to france] gets the -[minus sign], and going to the left gets the + [plus sign]? if it does, UK time is UTC, BUT, during summer, Local UK Time will be one hour advance [Daylight Saving Time], which now will be an hour ahead of the UK Standard Time and the UTC or GMT. Yeah, UTC or GMT is not the same as Local Time, and sometimes understanding em is pretty hard as well :))
