What if babby is formed in pilot? How pilot get pragnent?
They need to do way do that if mother pilot is podded babby is cloned with her as babby can't fight back. All pilot could be murdering inosent babby which is evl.
They need to take the babby back to the father as I am truley sorry for your lots.

The destruction of a pilot's body when podded is quite literal, and thus any female pilot who is pregnant does lose the baby, while the pilot's mind is transferred to a new body.
This is why the few pilots I've known to be pregnant don't fly and stay planet-side.

It's such a bad idea to fly while pregnant, at least if the mother cares at all whether the unborn child lives or dies. Even highsec is dangerous.
I'd really recommend the use of sterile clones to any capsuleer, male or female, but female especially; you can always switch bodies again if you decide you want to have children.
Oh, and Mr. Leutre, he's doing that on purpose.

Far as I know and that anyone's yet able to tell, the kids didn't suffer in the slightest from their mother's unique career.
Turns out that the same technology used to keep our clones alive and functioning while they're in storage works just fine for keeping a pregnant body alive and gestating as well. Cia clone-jumped whenever her day called for piloting but told me she felt uncomfortable doing so, understandably.
Of course, we're not talking a well-researched field here but as far as I know, there's no reason to believe Jan and Madlen won't develop completely normally. At most they'll have missed out on a little hormonal stimulation when Cia was clone-jumped away, but still to a much lesser extent than your average Caldari tube kid, and tube children turn out just fine. -

Oh yes, but the second one is still inside and connected to the mother via biological links (but no neural links). Though, I suppose, you are right, of course. I have to admit this is something I never really thought of. |

No.
Look, there's nothing mystic or impossible about it, okay? It's just a question of keeping the pregnant body on life support while the mother's mind isn't present. The biological functions of pregnancy are self-controlling and don't require any more than that the mother be physically alive.
So long as "the lights are on but nobody's home", the children are fine. They're not cloned, they stay put and gestate normally.
You REALLY need to bone up on your infomorph theory. -

All in all, there really haven't been enough studies.
A woman should be able to pilot a pod throughout her pregnancy with little physical effect.
However, there's no telling what the effects of warp-sickness might be, considering that we tend to go beyond normal human tolerances. The pod and the mother's own body should protect the fetus adequately, but there have been no real studies to show what side effects might crop up.
Considering the high-risk nature of pod piloting though I would strongly advise against any woman piloting a pod if she is or thinks she might be pregnant.
Also there should be no ill-effects of a child coming to term in a host clone where the primary personality is in another clone. But again, there have been no full studies into this, so I would advise against it.
Basically, if you're going to produce a child, that should be your only priority. You can hop back into the pod after you give birth. Why take chances? If you're pregnant and seriously considering piloting a pod or engaging in any risky behavior, then you should seriously reconsider becoming a parent.
And remember folks, the best part about kids, is making them.

If the mother can just let her clone do all the pregnancy jobs in a spare pod, why would she risk losing the babies by flying with them? An inactivated clone is always safe, a pilot in a pod in space isn't. So, there shouldn't be any pregnant pilot, only a normal pilot and a pregnant clone stored somewhere safe! Unless, of cause, the mother enjoys the thrill of risking their babies in a spaceship!

Which is exactly what I said that Cia did. pay attention!
Besides which, you are still a pilot even when you are not piloting. So yes, there can be pregnant pilots. It's just a bad idea for a pregnant pilot to fly in the body that has her babies. It's like a slightly more high-priority version of keeping your implants safe. -

A pilot is still a pilot even when they are not actually flying in the pod. and they COULD fly in the pod - Cia did, during the early stages of the pregnancy - it just puts the baby at risk of dying in the event of pod destruction and is therefore not a good idea. -

Some would suggest that there is a certain intimacy and attachment that develops from actually carrying the baby. Such people would also argue that jumping to a clone and leaving the baby to develop in an inactive clone denies the mother this attachment and may even affect the mental health of the baby, as there is some research suggesting that the mental and physical health of a child is dependent on the hormonal development of the mother (which would not take place on an inactive clone.)
Some mothers put being a mother as a higher priority than being in space and would rather tend to the care, needs and carrying of their child (born and unborn) before their need to be in space.
This does not mean the mother is no longer a pilot. It just means the mother is a pilot currently grounded.

You just wait. The Amarr will one day pay ten fold for the suffering they've brought to the Minmatar. That's not a threat dear, it's a promise. Your God will punish you. It is written in your own scripture that the Holder's responsibility is to spiritually enlighten the slave, educate him, treat him well. It seems however that you merely use your self-proclaimed righteousness as a poor excuse to enslave others to suit your own greed, and then fail to adhere to God's terms (according to your scripture, again). Do you really think your vanity will go unanswered?

I think, Mr. Galente, you should be more concerned about the suffering the Empire brings to your Federation. Have you noticed that the Minmatar don't care a jot about Gallente slaves? What are your priorities?
