I've been playing ORR missions for a while..The Pirate attacks for a level one mission in a frigate is way un even.. i run though PVP and Pirates in LEVEL ONE MISSIONS...IF I"M GOING TO PLAY LEVEL ONE MISSIONS IN 0.0 SPACE and fight PIRATE BATTLE SHIPS AND BATTLE CRUISERS THE REWARD SHOULD BE ALOT HIGHER THEN 100,000 ISK LOL... FIX IT PLZ...DON"T BE AN ............ to the player that really try..
I'm still able to out smart most AI ships. with a group of frigate pulling then out and away from the key points... IF ANY NEW PLAYER WOULD LIKE TO JOIN ME IN ORE SPACE AND LEARN THe (WAY) and make isk come join me...

As far as I know mining missions don't have any designated NPC rats that spawn. They just spawn a set of belt rats relative to the security status of the system you're mining in. I guess that means if you do level 1 mining missions in nullsec, you get the typical belt spawns of BS and BCs.

Aside from the second post, this thread is trolls trolling trolls, or morons talking to morons, I cant decide which.
When you mine, ANYWHERE, you can cause a system belt spawn. If you are in 8.0, a frigate, if you are in 0.0, BS and BC. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

IT's CALLED thinking (outside the box). FOR THER TO BE A 3rd state there must be a 1st and a 2nd. To realize a 3rd is possible is to create a 4th or more state of mind..

WELL you could Live in the first state and be in a 3rd state..Just look out space... Why is there a vacuum?
Because The first state is 1 dem.. it is flat, but faces every way forever to simulate a 3rd dim. The second state has to over come the first dem without breading the rules of the first one.. gravity... gravity starts a chain reaction cause a mirror reflection called time.. make more and more state reflect and react to.. like are sun..

I had it wrong, its the same guy trolling himself. Obviously with all these Outer Ring players posting their lack of targets, their loneliness has driven them quite mad.
If you jump to an Outer Ring system, and hear banjos, quickly MWD back to gate and get out. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

Well, aside from the way this thread is going, I must agree with the OP.
A level 1 mission area should have level 1 NPC's in it no matter where the mission area is located.
This is just another example of CCP's bad programming which needs to be corrected.

Instead of just crying when the game mechanics don't suit us, let's use our imaginations and actually roleplay a little (since we are playing a roleplaying game). Nullsec is just that, it's unsecured space, there are no cops, so there are bigger bad guys. It's totally logical. The one who's lack of logic should be questioned is the OP. Why are you doing lvl 1 missions in nullsec when they aren't paying well enough for the risk? You are the one doing something that doen't make sense. The solution is so easy it boggles the mind- Do a higher lvl mission for greater rewards or move to a higher security area and do lvl 1s. Of all the things in this game that need work, this is what you are complaining about!

Edited by: ValentinaDLM on 31/05/2011 22:05:26 While I don't like the OPs trollesque message I can confirm that many times in low level missions I have been confronted by multiple battleships and battlecruisers, This has nothing to do with the mission however, or at least I don't think it does.
The first time it happened it made no sense, why would Sansha's Nation rats come onto a mission and try to kill me, when I was running a mission for Sansha's Nation. After a bit of poking around though, it became obvious that a belt/gate rat spawn had entered by mission, and like a belt rat spawn normally does in time they warped away, though it cost me many of my mission completion bonuses back when I was doing l1 missions in stain.
I actually have a bunch of screen shots of this happening too, I wouldn't be surprised if the OP is getting serp rats that would have been on a belt or gate warping to them. At least that isn't that bad, you can kill serp rats without losing any standing to ORE, but I can't kill Sansha's rats without losing standing.
TL;DR there are all kinda of real problems with pirate missions that totally break immersion, but CCP feels they have bigger fish to fry, these missions have been like this for years.
P.S. If you kill those rats, you will get an appropriate bounty, so it isn't all no reward.

Edited by: Shen Matsu on 31/05/2011 22:44:55 BS's arent that hard to kill in 0.0 belts. Also the ORE faction modules and harvesting implants you get for the LP shouldnt be available without some obstacles, anyways youre never safe in nullsec so stop crying/trolling and get a logi to heal you or an alt/your own ship to kill the rats.

Kids ... when will you learn?
If you teach a ratting bot OCR, it eventually goes beyond reading and starts posting. I assume this is the result.
